Amelia’s test couldn’t be wrong.

Unless the Alchemist Guild had some weird drug that could fake even DNA results.

“We haven’t figured out who she’s working for yet, but we got a new lead,” Tyler said, teasing a little before continuing.

Tyler, for once, built up the suspense before continuing, “Regina is connected to Wade Curran.

“He’s the one who got Gianna that potion.

“Of course, we haven’t figured out how he got it.” Tyler sounded a bit disappointed about that.

The leads always dead–end right at the most critical point.

It felt like someone was intentionally giving them leads, then cutting them off just when they thought they had a breakthrough.

It felt like being toyed with–like the other side was playing with you for fun. It was disgusting and infuriating.

“I can’t believe Wade is mixed up in this.”

Amelia was pretty surprised by this.

Why would Wade have any connection to Gianna’s mom, Regina?

They shouldn’t even be connected!

When did Wade and Regina even start working together?
