The Heltess They Couldn’t Break
Chapter 55 A Deal with the Devil

Uriah Ball was one of the heirs of the Balls. Most of the time, he wasted his days on food, drinks, and parties.
Because of that, he knew plenty of shady people.
Gianna met him when she first stepped into the entertainment industry.
Uriah had taken a liking to her right away. He spoiled her, helped her out of trouble, and kept close to her ever since.
Their relationship was always a little messy, somewhere between friendship and something more.
The entertainment world was a complicated scene. Even with her brothers‘ protection, there were still things happening in the shadows that needed outside help.
Gianna had always carried the image of a gentle, innocent girl. No one would have guessed she was connected to a man like Uriah.
His reputation was notorious.
Gianna typically kept her distance from him in public, always afraid people might find out.
But this time, she was at her limit.
She wanted Amelia destroyed, her reputation ruined forever.
“Uriah.” Gianna’s voice was soft, but her eyes flashed with a dark glint. “I need your help with something.”
Uriah gave a lecherous laugh. “You know what I want, Gianna.”
Her fingers clutched the phone so tightly her knuckles turned white.
She took a deep breath, fighting back her disgust. “If this works, I’ll do whatever you ask.”
All she cared about was Amelia’s downfall. For that, she was willing to pay any price.
On the other end, Uriah chuckled, clearly pleased. “Now that’s more like it. Tell me, who’s the target? I’ll send my people.”
“Amelia!” Gianna spat the name through gritted teeth. “I want her ruined. I want her gone for good!”
Uriah whistled playfully. “That’s easy. I’ve got some fresh supplies that will make her feel out of this world. Maybe I’ll even let you try them.”
Gianna’s stomach twisted. She forced her voice steady. “I don’t need that. I’m willing to be with you.”
She hung up quickly. The thought of Uriah’s sick methods made her run straight to the bathroom. She leaned over the sink, gagging.
Gianna saw her pale face in the mirror. For a moment, a trace of struggle flashed through her eyes. Then

hate smothered it.
“You force my hand, Amelia,” she whispered to her reflection.
Meanwhile, Amelia was busy with her life,
She kept helping Jeremy with the treatment.
The poison in Iris body was cleared. His leg had healed, but years of sickness meant his body still needed
care.
Jeremy had suffered from the frostbone poison for years. Even though the poison was gone, his body still needed time to heal.
Some of the rare herbs she had been using were finished, so Amelia decided to restock.
About 30 minutes later, she arrived at a wellness store on the edge of the city.
The shop was famous for its collection of rare and valuable herbs.
“I need these,” Amelia said, handing the owner a list.
The store owner took the list, glanced at it, and frowned. “Young lady, these herbs aren’t cheap. A few of them are hard to find.”
“Money isn’t the problem,” Amelia interrupted calmly. She pulled a credit card from her bag and placed it on the counter. “I just want the real thing.”
The store owner’s eyes lit up, and his attitude instantly turned respectful. “Please wait a moment. I’ll get it right away.”
Leaving the wellness store, Amelia carried a bag filled with herbs and headed to her car.
Since this was the edge of the city, the roads weren’t busy. She relaxed as she drove.
But at a corner, a young girl suddenly darted out. Her face was full of panic.
Amelia slammed on the brakes, bringing the car to a sharp stop.
The girl was deeply shaken. She stumbled, fell to the ground, and sat there pale and trembling.
Amelia jumped out of the car and rushed over to check on her.
“Are you okay?” she asked, crouching beside her.
“I’m fine. Someone was chasing me just now, and I got scared.” The little girl’s voice shook, her body trembling.
Amelia frowned slightly. Something felt off.
This area was quiet, almost deserted. She glanced around but saw no one.
“They’re gone. You can stand up now,” she said gently.
