The one with a scar across his check spotted Gianna, and his eyes lit up. Well, look what we’ve got here. What a pretty little thing,he sneered.

His eyes roamed over her like a predator sizing up his prey.

Gianna forced herself to stay calm and stepped back a few feet. You’ve got the wrong person. I’m the younger daughter, Gianna! I’m not Amelia.

She was only trying to buy timehoping they’d realize who she was and wouldn’t dare to touch her.

The scarfaced man sneered as he walked closer. Don’t care who you are. You came through that door- no one leaves untouched. My buddies and I deserve a little fun.”

Gianna panicked. She grabbed a metal rod from the floor and held it in front of her. Stay back! My brothers will be here any second!

The man laughed harshly. Fiery little girl, huh? I like that.He snatched the rod right out of her hands and reached for her clothes.

Gianna fought back desperately. No! You’ve got the wrong person! Your target is Amelia! Not me! Stop it!

Smack!

Gianna swung the metal rod wildly, but a hard slap landed across her face. The burning pain made her vision blur for a moment.

What a jerk!

It hurts so bad!

The scarred man grabbed her chin and glared down at her. Bitch! You dare fight back? You’ll be crying for mercy soon enough.”

Gianna fell to the ground, one cheek swelling up like a balloon. Even so, she gasped out, Uriah sent you all! You’re supposed to kidnap Amelia! Not me! I’m the one who paid you! How could you do this to me! Arghhhh!

Before she could finish, someone yanked her hair from behind. Her scream echoed through the warehouse.

Outside, Amelia stood in the shadows, a cold smile tugging at her lips.

So it really was Gianna. But bad people always get what’s coming to them.

Gianna, she whispered, her voice icy, you’ve schemed against me too many times. Now it’s your turn to taste your own medicine.

After giving the little girl a few quiet instructions, Amelia turned and left.

Inside, Gianna’s screams grew louder and more desperate.

Let me go! You monsters! I’m the heiress of the Nygards! If you touch me, my brothers will make sure you regret it for the rest of your lives!

The scarfaced man yanked her head up by the hair and sneered. Ms. Nygard, huh? You walked right into this yourself. It’d be a shame not to have some fun with you.”

Nno! You’ve been tricked! It’s Amelia! That bitch set me up! I can pay you; just let me go!Gianna cried hysterically, thrashing with all her strength. But what could one woman do against three grown men?

One of them was already grabbing at her torn dress. Gianna kicked and fought wildly, but it was useless.

Help! Somebody help me! Marcelo! Miguel! Vincent!Gianna’s desperate cries tore through the warehouse.

Her voice grew weaker and weaker, swallowed up by the ugly laughter of men.

Just as her clothes were about to be ripped apart-

BANG! The warehouse doors flew open with a crash.

Gianna!A sharp, furious voice echoed as Vincent panickedly rushed inside.

Marcelo was right behind him, shouting, Stop!

Vincent! Marcelo!Gianna’s tears poured the moment she saw them. Her clothes were torn, her body trembling. Her voice was hoarse as she cried out, Save me! Please save me!

The thugs, angry that their fun had been interrupted, immediately charged at them.

A brutal fight broke out.

These men were used to street brawls and fought dirty. Vincent and Marcelo took a few hits; blood streaked across their faces.

But when Miguel and Maxwell arrived, the tables turned fast.

Within ten minutes, the thugs were on the ground, beaten and groaning in pain, unable to fight back.
