Chapter 95 Shouldn’t Amelia Come Too?

Patience felt that getting to work at her best friend’s company and actually partnering up with her felt like such a win.
But…
“Amelia, I remember you signed a contract with those awful brothers of yours. Now that you’re breaking off on your own, do you really think they’ll just let you walk away?”
Breaking that contract would cost a fortune.
And knowing her brothers, they’d either bleed her dry or just keep her around as backup for Gianna.
From the start, Patience had seen how much potential Amelia had–her looks and her talent were both top–notch.
She had actually wanted to be Amelia’s manager, but Maxwell pushed her to manage Gianna instead, who was always a nightmare to promote.
“Relax. I’ve got it handled,” Amelia said with a calm, confident smile.
Patience knew Amelia well–she wasn’t someone you could trip up easily. She was the type to stay quiet and low–key until the right moment, then strike when nobody saw it coming.
Since her last live variety show, Amelia’s fame had blown up, bringing in tons of new fans, especially moms and people who just loved her looks.
Meanwhile, the Nygard brothers were pouring everything into Gianna, trying to shape her into some perfect “little angel.”
But things backfired. Her follower count didn’t rise at all. In fact, almost a third of the nearly one million fans she’d worked so hard to get dropped in just one night.
Gianna was livid.
Over the past few days, she’d been quietly whining to Marcelo and Maxwell about her stress, hoping they’d push harder to make her a star.
Feeling bad for her, her brothers started scheming again.
They ramped up her presence on every big social platform, spending a fortune on glossy posters and slick promo videos to grab attention.

Then they lined up a string of fashion magazine shoots, betting that fancy spreads would boost
her status.
They even locked in top brand endorsements, counting on the brands‘ clout to lift her profile.
On top of that, they used their own marketing accounts, which were built up over the years with huge investments, to fix Gianna’s cringe variety–show image, and hired online promoters to hype her up.
After all that spending, Gianna finally clawed back some popularity.
“Gianna, there’s a big–name fashion show called the Popular Model Contest coming up here. Only the top models get invited, so it’ll grab a lot of attention. I’m planning for you to be in it.’
An event like that was perfect for building buzz and shaping her public image.
Maxwell had gone out of his way to secure her a solid platform that would help her stand out.
Back when he was still with Patience, she handled everything like this, and all he had to do was give orders.
But the gigs and training plans she lined up for Gianna never worked out.
Other than a quick burst of fame from lip–syncing a few years ago, Gianna hadn’t managed to make a real breakthrough.
At the time, Maxwell even suspected Patience was holding back on purpose, not really supporting his sister.
And since Gianna also liked to complain that Patience was too harsh with her, he ended up switching managers.
That whole mess eventually led to his breakup with Patience.
Now Maxwell had to deal with Gianna’s career himself, and he regretted how things ended.
At least back then, he had someone to focus on Gianna full–time, which wasn’t the worst thing.
“Popular Model Contest?” Gianna’s eyes lit up instantly.
A rising star had recently blown up by going the modeling route. At an international fashion show, she stirred up tons of chatter, showing off her cool, elegant vibe, and her popularity skyrocketed.
That model now had a booming career in acting, singing, dancing, and livestreaming.
