Maxwell’s idea lined up perfectly with Gianna’s. He wanted to use Amelia as a backdrop to make Gianna shine.

“But… what if she says no? She’s never been a fan of the looks you’ve designed for her, Maxwell.”

Gianna was poking at him on purpose.

Maxwell had once poured his energy into styling Amelia, only for her to reject it outright.

“She’s signed with the company. I tell her what to do, and she does it. End of story.”

“Good. I hope she realizes how much work you put in, Maxwell. You’ve always treated her better than she deserves.”

Her sweet talk made him grin. “Don’t worry about her. I’ll handle everything. You’ll definitely rise to the top of the industry.”

“Maxwell, you’re the best! Out of all my brothers, you’re my favorite,” Gianna said, hugging him and flashing a look of affection.

“You really know how to butter me up,” Maxwell laughed, clearly eating it up.

Of course, she’d said the same thing to his other two brothers. Watching all three wrapped around her finger filled her with pride and fed her ego.

Meanwhile, Josie was fully in on Amelia’s plan to launch her own company and gave her full

support.

After the three friends talked it through, each of them started planning their roles.

Patience even invited Amelia over to crash at her place, drink a little, and brainstorm ideas for building up new talent.

“You started a company?” Jeremy raised a brow at her.

Amelia had dropped by that day to give him needle therapy, which was part of his regular care. His old cold–related issues had been cured long ago.

For Jeremy, paying off a penalty was nothing. He just liked helping her.

“Yep. You’ll see soon enough,” Amelia said with a sly smile, keeping him guessing.

Jeremy couldn’t stop smiling at her playful side. His normally lazy, half–asleep eyes softened with affection.

He knew she’d never let anyone take advantage of her.

He always respected her choices. So, he never made decisions for her and always asked first.

After wrapping up with Jeremy, Amelia went straight to Patience’s apartment.

Jeremy had wanted to drop her off himself, but she politely rejected the offer.

She didn’t want Patience getting the wrong idea about their relationship–it would’ve been a pain to explain.

Patience’s studio was small but cozy, fully furnished and decorated in a warm, girly style.
