Nathaniel was stung by her expression and, after a moment, said, “Estella, after working for so long, haven’t you realized that without a background or someone to support you, anyone can take advantage of you? Wouldn’t it be better to go back to the Hartwell family and be my wife?”

Estella looked at him coldly without speaking.

Nathaniel continued, “There will be more people like Wayne, not fewer. You know your appearance naturally attracts attention. You should stay at home instead of going out and inviting those people to harm you…”
