Chapter 92 I Trust You
Finisher
Victoria barely managed to open her mouth and swallow the pills, but they didn’t seem to help. Her symptoms not only failed to improve-they worsened rapidly.
Her body went limp, and she collapsed to the floor, unconscious.
Estella froze in terror, her mind going blank. It took several seconds before she snapped out of it.
With trembling fingers, she dialed 911 and frantically explained the situation and their address.
Soon, an ambulance arrived at their home.
The medics lifted Victoria onto a stretcher and immediately began emergency treatment.
Estella climbed into the ambulance with them.
The entire way to the hospital, her heart was in her throat. Her fists clenched tightly in her lap, silently praying her mother would pull through.
When they arrived at the nearest hospital, Estella jumped out the moment the doors opened and jogged alongside the gurney, eyes fixed on her mother as she was rushed into the emergency room.
She stood staring at the closed doors-unable to hold back her fear and dread any longer. Her tears broke free, streaming down her cheeks.
As she stood there in panic, a familiar figure appeared.
It was Jonathan.
He was here.
Jonathan rushed over. When he saw Estella crying, his voice filled with concern. “What happened?”
Estella sobbed in guilt and self-blame. “I made her pass out… It’s my fault. She was already sick, and I still said those things to her.”
Jonathan’s expression softened with worry. He gently reached out and patted her shoulder, his voice calm and reassuring. “Don’t be scared. I’m here. She’s strong-she’ll be okay, I promise.”
His words were like a soothing balm, steadying her frayed nerves. Her sobs quieted, and the tears slowly stopped.

Chapter 921 Trust You
She looked up at him through a blurry haze and gave a small nod.
Just then, Wendy was wheeled out of her room by a nurse, sitting in a wheelchair.
She was looking for Jonathan.
And there he was-standing beside Estella.

The sight hit her like a slap. A wave of jealousy surged through her, flooding every corner of her heart.
She stared at them, seething inwardly. That shameless bitch. Even with me hospitalized, she still won’t stop clinging to Jonathan! What does he even see in her?!
Wendy trembled with rage, her fingers clenching the armrests so tightly her knuckles turned white.
Then, biting her lip hard, she snapped to the nurse behind her, “Take me back.”
As furious and unwilling as she was, she knew she couldn’t lose control-not now. Jonathan would only resent her for it.
After a long and anxious wait, Victoria’s surgery was finally completed successfully.
Estella stayed by her mother’s side in the room, only relaxing a little once everything was stable.
Jonathan arrived with a carefully packed dinner and set it gently on the bedside table, his eyes full of quiet concern.
“Try to eat something.”
But Estella didn’t feel the slightest bit hungry. She sat quietly on the bed, eyes fixed on her mother, her expression distant and dazed.
Jonathan moved closer, sat at her side, and spoke softly, coaxing her with gentle warmth. “Just eat a little. You’ll need the energy to take care of her.”
He opened the food container. The delicious smell filled the room, but Estella didn’t even flinch.
Jonathan patiently urged her a little longer, and finally, she gave a faint nod and picked up a fork. She took a few bites slowly-just enough to ease his worry.
When she couldn’t force down another bite, she searched for something to say to shift the mood. “Mr. Jonathan, why did you come to the hospital today?”
