Time-Limited Love: A Contract Expired, Not Renewed novel Chapter 331

When Landon didn’t refuse, Zinnia let out a quiet sigh of relief.

She had been worried he might suddenly back out, making things unnecessarily complicated for her.

After Zinnia left, Landon remained seated, staring blankly at the cup of black coffee she’d left untouched on the table. The corners of his mouth twitched, but his attempt at a smile looked more like he was about to cry. It felt as if all the strength had drained from his body.

Back at the office, Zinnia found Yuri at her desk.

In front of him sat a small box—the custom fountain pen she’d given him yesterday.

Noticing her arrival, Yuri waved her over.

She walked up, asking, “What’s up? How’s the pen working out?”

“If it’s from you, of course it’s the best,” he replied.

Then he lifted another fountain pen from the box—identical in style but a different color.

“This is a matching set. I haven’t even found a girlfriend yet, and you’ve already given me both halves of a couples’ pen?”

He grinned, teasing her. His gaze lingered on Zinnia’s surprised expression, amusement flickering in his eyes.

“I only ordered one,” Zinnia blurted, suddenly remembering running into Arrow at the shop. He’d mentioned wanting to give her a pen, but she hadn’t expected him to actually buy one—let alone get the matching set. Now this was awkward.

She hesitated, then explained the whole story to Yuri.

“Yuri, just keep it. Once you find a girlfriend, you can give her the other pen,” she suggested.
