Time-Limited Love: A Contract Expired, Not Renewed novel Chapter 349

“Landon, Noelle’s already been taken in. We’re not planning to sign any settlement agreement. I… I know this is all Noelle’s fault. She was wrong, and you have every right to punish her.”

“But this time—please, I’m begging you, can’t you just let us go? Just this once. After this, we’ll never bother you again. Let’s call it even—let’s say this repays the debt from when Noelle saved your life all those years ago, alright?”

As Landon listened, his eyes grew even colder, the sharpness in his gaze almost cutting the air.

He gave Richie a slight nod. Richie understood immediately and let go of Juniper.

Freed at last, Juniper rushed over to Landon, and right there on the pavement, dropped to his knees in front of him.

“Landon, yes, Noelle made mistakes, but she did it because she loves you. What she did was wrong, but her intentions never were.”

“If she didn’t care about you, she never would have risked her life to save you back then. All these years, she’s suffered from the aftereffects of that day—she even developed depression because of it. You’ve seen all of this with your own eyes.”

Juniper was desperate, grasping at Landon’s conscience as if it were his last hope. He poured everything out.

“I know you’ve helped us a lot over the years. Please, I promise, this is the last time. If you could just show us some mercy, I’ll never come to you for anything again.”

“If this goes on, Infinity Structures Inc. will really go bankrupt, Landon.”

Juniper sobbed and pleaded, his last shred of dignity gone as he knelt outside the Ford Group headquarters, bowing his head to the ground over and over, begging Landon for forgiveness.

Suddenly, he heard Landon let out a faint, disdainful laugh. Juniper froze.

He looked up, meeting Landon’s icy, imposing stare.

“I almost forgot about you.”
