"Ms. Quinn!"
Elijah was the first to stop Noelle. "Please, don't call the police. It's already late, and by the time they arrive, it'll be hours from now. Besides, we still have filming tomorrow. We can't afford any delays to the schedule."
Noelle gave him a cold, mocking smile. "Elijah, I would very much like to continue filming tomorrow, but clearly, some people don't want that to happen. Things have already escalated to this point. If I choose to back down now, I'd be nothing more than an easy target. If that is the case, then what does it matter if the shoot doesn't go on at all?"
She turned to the sponsors and company representatives. "Since Flame Speed Racing was invited to take part in this campaign, we should be treated with respect. Tina deliberately neglected her duties as a makeup artist earlier today, and now her apprentices have gone so far as to plant venomous creatures in my room."
Her expression hardened. "I am grateful I happened to go down the mountain, and that they did not target one of my teammates instead. They are all only in their early 20s, with promising careers ahead of them. If something had happened to them, their future would have been destroyed."
Her words immediately fueled the anger of the Flame Speed Racing team.
Jenna glared at Tina. "In that recording just now, your apprentices clearly said they only dared to act because they had backing. Does this mean Divine Group never wanted us as their ambassadors to begin with?"
Jayden echoed her fury. "If Ms. Quinn hadn't been lucky enough to avoid it, who knows how badly she would have been hurt? Whoever is behind this is utterly despicable!"
The presence of Flame Speed Racing's team carried weight. With so many of them standing together, Tina felt genuine pressure bearing down on her. Panic flickered in her eyes as she darted a glance toward Luther. He hadn't expected matters to spiral this far and turned away, quietly trying to contact his superiors.
Meanwhile, Noelle remained composed. "Our agreement was signed with Mr. Zeller. Yet on the very first day of filming, such an incident occurred. If the company doesn't send someone to investigate this matter thoroughly, then I'm afraid we cannot continue the shoot."
She raised a brow. "Our team has the strongest legal department behind it. With the evidence I've gathered, any lawyer would know exactly which party is in breach of contract. Unless there is a proper explanation for Tina and her apprentices' actions, we'll not let this go."
In other words, she would pursue the matter to the very end.
Elijah hadn't expected Noelle to be so unyielding.
Meanwhile, Luther gritted his teeth in frustration. To him, she was just a racer, yet she dared to challenge them so brazenly. Speaking into the phone in a low voice, he reported, "Mr. Turner, things have gotten out of hand. What should we do now?"
