Aveline’s expression turned even colder. She wanted to take a few steps back, but felt it would make her seem weak, as if she were afraid of him.

Jasmine and Julian were waiting outside, and they were visibly relieved when she came out.

Eileen was also outside the door and said immediately, “Aveline, I’m here to apologize.

Aveline frowned slightly, wondering what Eileen was up to.

Eileen was stunned to see Xavier also walk out of the room.
