Jasmine frowned, “What are they trying to do?”

Aveline asked with a grim face, “Aren’t the police the only ones who can pull security footage?”

Katie gave a helpless smile, “I don’t know why they showed it to them. I wasn’t allowed into the security room.”

Aveline guessed Xavier must have pulled some strings for Josephine.

“They copied the footage, probably to see if they can use it to sue me.”

“Are they gone?”

Katie looked towards the hotel lobby, “Mr. Beltran just arrived. He’s in the lobby with Josephine, Jacob, and Court- ney.”
