Lauren even said to Aveline, “You’re about to marry into our Beltran family. Why do you still care about the Sutton family’s money?”

Standing at the side, Claude had his head low and smiled silently. He knew that it must be Josephine on the other end of the phone.

Only when Xavier talked to Josephine would he smile and be so relaxed. Even Aveline couldn’t do it.

In the parking lot, after getting in the car, Xavier said to the driver, “To Parkview Estates.”

The driver was stunned and thought he had heard it wrong. He glanced at Xavier through the rearview mirror. “Mr. Beltran, to Parkview Estates?”

After confirming it, the driver started the car.

When they arrived at Parkview Estates, it was already dark. Xavier looked at the villa from the outside. Only the first floor was bright, while the upper floor was dark, which made him somewhat confused.

He thought that even if Aveline was not back yet, Helena should still turn on the lights upstairs.

“Aveline’s not back yet?” Xavier asked, walking to the sofa and sitting down.

Helena thought that Xavier and Aveline had agreed to come back here tonight. She shook her head and replied, “No.”

“When does she usually come back?” Xavier asked again.

Helena was stunned for a second. “I’m sorry, Mr. Beltran. I don’t know.”

Xavier raised his eyes and looked at her. “The time of her coming back is usually uncertain?”

Helena was even more confused. “I’m not sure, Mr. Beltran. Mrs. Beltran usually won’t come back here. After this villa was renovated, she hasn’t been back again since the last time she came with you.”

This time, Xavier was stunned.

“She didn’t live here these days?”

Helena shook her head. “No. Mrs. Beltran has never lived here.”

Xavier frowned.

After a moment of thought, he took out his phone and dialed Aveline’s number.

Meanwhile, Aveline was having her dinner at the studio. Seeing Xavier’s call, she ignored it and continued eating.
