When Your Cheating Husband's Dream Become Your Divorce Evidence novel Chapter 18

Chapter 7

Jenna’s side kept showing “typing…” but I never got a response.

So I turned off my phone and got up to go to the hospital.

I’d prepared for everything.

But the doctor told me I was too far along for a regular abortion-I’d need to induce labor.

The fetus was healthy.

Labor induction required a family member’s signature.

Looking at that flimsy consent form, I begged repeatedly.

But no matter what, the doctor wouldn’t agree.

Without the signed form, I’d have to wait until after the divorce and bring the divorce papers…

But the cooling-off period was a whole month.

The longer I waited, the more damage to my body.

I had no choice.

Finally, I could only clutch that form and leave the hospital.

Just when I was feeling stuck, Jenna sent a selfie.

The mall’s glass reflection showed her in a low-cut top and bodycon skirt.

The landmark in the background made it obvious where she was.

Jenna was near Declan’s office right now.

I didn’t hesitate.

I immediately called a cab to go there.

On the way, I contacted ten local social media influencers.

This kind of juicy drama shouldn’t be enjoyed by just me alone.

Unfortunately, only five of the ten influencers were available on short notice.

But one of them had a million followers.

That would be enough to make them internet famous.

Declan usually just napped at the office during lunch.

But since Jenna could come over, they must have made plans.

Lunch break was only two hours, so they wouldn’t go far-definitely a nearby hotel.

I got out of the cab and waited downstairs for Declan to get off work.

Meanwhile, in front of the influencers, I called Marcus.

He was defensive at first:

“Why are you calling me?”

“Don’t tell me you’re just calling to trash-talk Jenna. I know you don’t like her, but she’s never done anything to hurt you. She’s just got a certain

personality…”

Hearing his dull voice, I interrupted impatiently:

“When you had dinner at her place last night, what time did Declan leave?”

Marcus paused, then gave an embarrassed laugh:

“Jenna kept pouring me drinks and I drank too fast. I got wasted before the end…”

“It was only around ten, but before I passed out, Dec said he was leaving soon to give us space.”

His voice was earnest as he chuckled:

“But I got way too drunk and wasted Dec’s good intentions.”

My expression turned cold.
