Narissa raised an eyebrow.

Just then, Cressida opened the door. “Shanna, what are you doing here?” she asked.

Shanna crossed her arms, a smug grin on her face. “I just came to see how you will act while defeated,” she sneered.

Cressida’s expression darkened. “The competition hasn’t even started yet. What makes you so sure Regality Academy is gonna lose?” she

shot back.

Shanna scoffed. “Oh, come on, that’s hilarious. With all you dead weights from Regality Academy–can’t even lift a finger–how could you possibly win?”

“Exactly! A bunch of nobodies like you are only capable of serving us.” Shanna’s friend chimed in, her words just as savage.

At that moment, Miranda stepped up beside Cressida and snapped, “Don’t get too full of yourself, Shanna. We’ve all had special training this time. We’ll beat the Lunaris Academy so bad that you will end up crying.”

Shanna suddenly caught Miranda off guard and slapped her hard across the face.

“You actually hit me?” Miranda yelled.

Shanna backhanded her with another slap, then sneered, “So what if I hit you? If you’ve got the guts, hit me back!”

Miranda was left fuming, but she didn’t dare lift a finger in return.

After all, she knew she was no match for Shanna. There was just too much of a gap in their strength.
