Chapter 11
When Elijah was rescued by the lifeboat crew and brought aboard, he had already lost his mind completely.
Clutched tightly in his palm was a torn fragment of white fabric from Nathaly’s dress.
“Get everyone out here, every single one! They couldn’t even keep watch over a person. I want them to pay with their lives!”
He was soaked from head to toe, his face as pale as a ghost. In his bloodshot, pitch-black eyes, only a fanatical urge to kill remained.
The bodyguard nearby turned white with fear, and the assistant was shaking so badly he could barely hold his phone.
“Nathy must be in so much pain…” Elijah murmured, tears streaming down his face.
His Nathy, she must be hurting terribly.
He snatched the gun from the bodyguard’s hand and turned to walk into the cabin.
“Don’t be afraid, Nathy. I’ll bring them down to join you soon.”
But in the next second, the assistant’s excited voice suddenly rang out.
“Mr. Tuckett, please wait! There’s news from the police! It’s about Mrs. Tuckett!”
He had gambled right.
Elijah did indeed stop in his tracks.
He dropped the gun, took the phone, and played the voice message.
“Mr. Tuckett, after several days of comparison, our technicians have finally identified the perpetrator who harmed Mrs. Tuckett that day- Clayton Fridley, age thirty, elder brother of yesterday’s second victim, Ms. Fridley. Finger- print analysis confirms that he was also the one who kidnapped Ms. Fridley yesterday. However, unlike the brutal at- tack on Mrs. Tuckett, the perpetrator seemed to deliberately avoid fatal areas on Ms. Fridley. Moreover, upon exami- nation, we discovered that the blood on Ms. Fridley was not human blood.”
Under the night sky, Elijah stood silently on the deck, his brows and eyes dark and menacing like a vengeful spirit.
“Find out exactly what happened.”
His tone was filled with violence. A suspicion surfaced in his mind.
“Take your men and search the entire ship, inside and out. Clayton must be on board. This is a conspiracy targeting the woman I love,” Elijah said coldly.

He forcibly suppressed the overwhelming grief in his heart.
It was highly likely that his Nathy had been driven to her death by the Fridley siblings.
He would avenge her with his own hands!

Nicole leaned against her pillow, replying to the concerned comments from her millions of followers.
“Don’t worry, everyone. Eli showed up just in time to save me! Boohoo, I can’t live without this man, I love him so much.”
Her messaging was interrupted by a sudden phone call.
When Nicole saw the caller’s name, her face lit up with joy. She quickly turned up the volume of the TV drama before carefully answering the call.
“So? Did you get it done? Is that woman dead yet?”
The person on the other end said something, and Nicole frowned in surprise.
“She killed herself?! How is that possible? Would that bitch really give up the Tuckett Group’s fortune and choose death?!”
She paused for a moment after speaking, then, remembering she was about to become the new Mrs. Tuckett, her mood instantly improved.
“Well, at least she knew her place. She realized she couldn’t beat me, so she just went and died. Their whole family is low-class, social trash, and honestly, they’re useless alive… The child? Pfft… That was just an egg I bought at random. You know how painful egg retrieval is?! Anyway, I never intended for her to have the baby from the start… Enough, find a chance to hide later. I’ll fake being sick to help cover for you and get Elijah out of the way. He likes me any- way.”
There was a knock at the door from the nurse outside.
“Ms. Fridley, your sleeping drink is here.”
Nicole yawned impatiently and urged, “Didn’t I already pay you a million? Once I marry into the Tuckett family, I’ll give you another ten million. I’m exhausted, I’m going to sleep now.”
After hanging up, she stretched contentedly, unable to suppress the smile at the corners of her mouth.
