Chapter 411 Back to the Pack
Leslie’s POV
I went back to my room, seething the more I thought about it. My fist slammed against the wall, pine resin pheromones spilling out uncontrollably.
That Carl–what a disgrace!
Such a money tree, and he went and destroyed himself!
Damn idiot!
On the show, that soft, pitiful Omega act of his could’ve been hyped into a wave of “poor little wolf pup” buzz. It would’ve helped me pull in resources and keep Kelly in the spotlight. And now? All ruined!
Asphodel sneered with a low laugh. “You still care about him? That brat’s eyes are glued to someone else’s thighs. Sooner or later, the Crimson Moon Pack’s wolves will tear him apart.”
I sucked in a deep breath, the rage in my chest growling like a wolf spirit, making my temples throb.
My phone buzzed. It was Liam.
His voice came through the receiver, a little rushed. “Leslie, there’s an emergency meeting that needs attending. Should I find someone to cover for you?”
I gripped the phone tight. Asphodel snorted. “Cover for you? Screw that! Let that damned show go to hell. Our claws should be scratching the itch ourselves.”
I let out a cold laugh. “I’ll go myself.”
I couldn’t stand being in this group another second.
In less than two days, nearly everyone had been replaced–Chloe and Sandra had been driven off by Kirby, Carl the fool dug his own grave, and now the whole production was in shambles.
Heh. The entertainment world’s too deep. She’s done!
Asphodel howled in agreement. “Yes, back to the Rogue Pack! These cheap tricks to please others are nothing compared to ripping your enemies apart.”
I grabbed my coat and shoved the door open.
Goodbye, mess.

Chapter 411 Back to the Pack
Malach’s POV
News of Leslie’s departure reached Kirby soon enough.
The corners of his brows cased, his expression finally a little lighter. He spoke calmly. “Let’s go.”
I froze, testing the waters. “We’re going back to the Pack?”
“Mm.” He was already on his feet, straightening his suit jacket. That air of cold, untouchable nobility spread out instantly, so high and distant I couldn’t help but glance at him again.
Relief washed over me and I nodded quickly. “Yes, I’ll make arrangements.”
Better for him to return to the Pack and command the territory than hole up in this hotel.
It hadn’t even been two days here. Nothing important had been delayed, but as his beta, I’d clearly shouldered far too much blame.
I bowed my head again. “Yes, I’ll take care of it.”
