Chapter 435 Seeds of Doubt
Malach’s POV
Our true aim was never to entertain foolish netizens, nor to drag Adler down with such laughable methods.
For a royal alpha, rumors like these were no more than a scratch.

What mattered was letting Leslie see that crack beneath Adler’s flawless façade, planting in her heart a seed of doubt.
Once a rift existed between them, there would be no future.
That was an alpha’s game of strategy
—
every move serving the final goal.
Kirby ended a call, his voice cold as ice. “This ends here. Proceed with the second plan. Bring her before Adler.”
I understood instantly.
Yes, make him squirm.
Not only would Leslie doubt him, but that woman herself would appear in front of Adler, shaking his composure.
I finished recording the meeting notes and was about to leave when Slyvana appeared at the door.
Since Marcus, the old alpha, had clashed with Kirby over Leslie, Marcus had brought Slyvana back into his fold.
I hurried forward. “Miss Slyvana, you came to see Alpha?”
She startled at my sudden approach, shrinking back.
“Y–yes. Marcus asked me to tell Kirby to come to the manor for dinner tonight.”
“All right, please wait here.” I was about to go announce her when she grabbed my sleeve.
“Malach, you tell him. I… I’m a little afraid of him now. I’d rather not face him. I’ll go.”
And with a wave, she fled.
I could understand her fear. Alpha’s methods had been harsh before, too much for a pampered young lady like her.

Yet as I watched her scurry away, the air carried a trace of something odd pheromones laced with the subtle scent of conspiracy.
Carl’s POV
The day wasn’t even over, and trouble kept piling up.
her beta
That evening, I was scrolling the pack networks, enjoying the spectacle of a foolish director caught with a starlet, their scandal dragged online by the director’s mate. The apology post was swamped with curses. Entertainment at its finest.
I was just grinning when a push notification froze the smile on my lips.
The exposer I had buried
–
the one accusing the Eastern Continent alpha- had resurfaced.
This time she didn’t hold back. She named Adler outright, tagging him as Gold Empire’s alpha, and bought herself a fresh round of top searches.

Two blades driven into the trending list at one and two, impossible to ignore.
And now that Adler’s name was public, the old photo of him with Leslie was dredged up again.
The “female alpha” he was supposedly pursuing — who else could it be but my sister?
Once Leslie was tied in, burying the story became nearly impossible.
I had already leaned on my network to ensure her name never appeared officially on the trending list.
But official control couldn’t stop the whispers.
In the comments, Leslie’s name showed up more than the actress’s.
I snapped the tablet shut in frustration.
