Delete My Love for You novel Chapter 255

Charlotte fought against him with all her strength, but Darren’s kiss was forceful and insistent, crackling with an electricity that sent shivers down her spine.

The tingling sensation spread from her lips, slowly eroding her resistance, unraveling her defenses bit by bit. Even the implanted chip in her brain couldn’t suppress the involuntary reaction of her body.

As the struggle beneath him weakened, Darren’s lips wandered lower, lingering at her slender neck and delicate collarbone. His hands roamed restlessly along her waist, and when her shirt was pushed up, his calloused fingertips expertly found her most sensitive spots.

Charlotte’s breathing grew quick and ragged.

Just as things threatened to spiral out of control, she seized a moment when Darren’s guard was down. With practiced precision, she shaped her hand like a blade and struck the back of his neck.

Moments ago, he’d been a wild beast; now, Darren collapsed to the side, unconscious.

That blow would keep him out cold until morning.

Charlotte gazed at the man now lying motionless beside her. She let out a slow, shaky breath, the tension in her body easing at last. The heat and restlessness he’d stoked within her faded, forcibly pushed back into the depths of her heart as he slipped into unconsciousness.

“Darren…” She bit her lip—still tender and swollen from his kisses—and murmured hoarsely, “Give it up already.”

Turning away, she ignored the man sprawled beside her and wrapped herself tightly in the blanket.

Dawn crept in, pale and cold.

When Charlotte woke, Darren was still lying exactly where he’d fallen, motionless at the edge of the bed. The memory of his behavior last night brought a fresh surge of anger. Without hesitation, she reached out and gave him a hard shove, sending his defenseless body tumbling to the floor.

There was a heavy thud, followed by Darren’s muffled groan as he hit the carpet.

He jolted awake, growling instinctively, “Who did that?!”

He pushed himself up and caught sight of Charlotte, glaring at him from the bed. A quick glance around revealed the unmistakable decor of a high-end hotel suite, while a sharp ache pulsed at the base of his neck. Glancing down at his bare chest, he spotted fresh scratch marks and a distinct bite mark. The memories of last night came flooding back.

They were at the Avalor Hotel.

He’d gotten handsy last night—and she’d knocked him out cold.
