From a Wrong Turn to Mr. Right novel Chapter 116

“No, really, I’m fine?”

Olivia Bennett sounded completely sure. “I’m really fine.”

She said it with such certainty that Adelina Lane finally let it go.

They chatted for a few minutes until the butler appeared at the door. “Dinner is ready, everyone.”

After gathering Lily George and Lance Carter, the group made their way to the dining room.

The table was absolutely loaded—turkey, roast beef, mashed potatoes, fresh-baked bread, salads, and even a pie cooling in the corner. The spread could’ve rivaled anything at Savory & Grace, the fanciest restaurant in town.

It was a proper feast.

Everyone found their seats. Lily George took the head of the table, with Lance Carter, Adelina Lane, and Jasper Lane on one side, and Olivia Bennett and Ethan Carter on the other.

Lily turned to Olivia, “Do you like everything? Is the food alright?”

Adelina had already checked on Olivia’s preferences beforehand, so everything on the table was a hit.

Olivia smiled and nodded. “It’s all my favorites, thank you.”

Lily looked satisfied, but then something seemed to cross her mind. “You know what? I should send a chef over to your place. You’re expecting, after all. You need proper meals, good nutrition, the whole nine yards.”

Olivia nearly choked on her drink.

“No, Grandma, that’s really not necessary. Susan’s cooking is wonderful, and I’m already so used to her food. You don’t need to go to all that trouble.”

Lily thought about it for a moment. “Well, if you’re used to it, then that’s what matters.”

She just wanted what was best for Olivia, but if Olivia was happy with Susan’s cooking, that was good enough.

Meanwhile, Jasper Lane actually did choke on his water. After a coughing fit, he stared at Olivia in disbelief. “Wait—Olivia’s pregnant?”

It wasn’t exactly a secret. Olivia nodded.

Adelina blinked. “Didn’t I tell you?”
