The snowman’s body was stacked up by Ethan Carter, and the head was rolled into place by his sister, Elaine Carter.
As for its appearance, that was Olivia Bennett’s job.
When they were finally done, Elaine wrapped a bright red scarf around the snowman’s neck.
In that instant, the adorable snowman almost seemed to come alive.
Both Elaine and Olivia had pure delight sparkling in their eyes. By contrast, Ethan looked as calm as ever.
Still, seeing how much they enjoyed it, he felt pretty good about the whole thing.
At least all that hard work hadn’t gone to waste.
Elaine stepped up beside the snowman. “Olivia, take a picture of me with Frosty, will you?”
“Of course!” Olivia picked up her camera.
Elaine was an actress—she basically lived in front of a lens. She didn’t need any guidance from Olivia; she struck a pose and, just like that, looked like she’d stepped out of a magazine.
Olivia snapped photo after photo. After a while, Elaine glanced at the shots.
She didn’t hold back her praise. “Olivia, your skills are amazing. I swear, I need to come to your studio and get a real photo shoot done!”
Getting complimented like that obviously made Olivia happy.
She grinned. “Anytime.”
Elaine scrolled through the photos, then said, “Olivia, your turn! Let me take some of you.”
Olivia didn’t protest—she just handed over the camera.
The two of them giggled and played around for a while, taking turns behind the lens.
After getting a great shot, Elaine handed the camera to Ethan. “Check out how Olivia turned out! Isn’t she gorgeous?”
Ethan looked over.
Olivia was bundled up from head to toe, but somehow that only made her look more beautiful. The red coat she wore popped against the snowy white background—she looked like she belonged on a Christmas card.
“Yeah. Gorgeous,” he said simply.
Elaine’s face lit up with a grin. She teased, “Wait, do you mean the photo’s gorgeous, or Olivia is?”
Ethan gave her a fleeting look, then turned to Olivia.
Olivia was standing in the snow, a soft smile on her lips—she looked even more captivating than she did in the pictures.
He hesitated just a moment, then said, carefully, “You’re gorgeous.”
