From a Wrong Turn to Mr. Right novel Chapter 92

Not quite right—she could call her “sis,” but “Olivia Bennett” just sounded off.

Wait, still not right.

Actually, she couldn’t do either.

If she called her “sis,” that would put her and Olivia Bennett in different generations.

Helen Adams was brainstorming, her brows knitting together in concentration.

Olivia Bennett found it amusing, and tapped Helen lightly on the head, her voice gentle. “If it’s hard to believe, just take your time and let it sink in.”

Helen wasn’t really paying attention—she didn’t even catch what Olivia said. She just nodded automatically.

Olivia shook her head with a helpless sigh, put both hands on Helen’s shoulders, and spun her around towards the door with a small laugh. “Helen, , let’s get moving. Don’t just stand there in a daze.”

Helen finally snapped back to reality. She glanced back at Olivia and Adelina Lane, still feeling a little emotional about the whole thing.

But she didn’t linger. She shot Adelina a friendly smile, then left.

Olivia closed the door behind her, and only then did it hit her—she started to feel nervous again.

Adelina didn’t miss the look on her face. She grinned and commented, “Aileen’s really sweet.”

Just like that, the tension broke.

Olivia’s lips curled into a small smile as she explained softly, “That’s just how she is. She’s a great kid, really. Don’t let her age fool you—she looks out for me, she’s efficient, and she takes things seriously.”

Adelina’s eyes sparkled with amusement as she replied, “Well, I guess I owe her a proper thank you then.”

Her easy familiarity caught Olivia a bit off guard.

“Would you like something to drink?” Olivia offered, quickly scanning the room for something to serve.

Adelina waved her off. “No, I’m good.”

“At least let me get you a glass of water,” Olivia insisted, stepping toward the kitchen.
