She wanted to get pregnant again to secure her position. If she had another child, her place as Mrs. Belmont would be secured.
Dion closed the room door and locked it.
Nina wasn’t angry at all. Instead, she just smiled. She walked up and knocked on Lewis’s room door.
Knock, knock.
There was no response from inside the room. Nina called softly, “Lewis, Dion kicked me out and I’m so cold. Can you open the door for me, please?”
“Lewis, there are no blankets or a bed out here. What am I supposed to do tonight?”
Nina’s voice was shaky and sounded like she was about to cry. Any man would pity her for that weak and pitiful tone.
After a long silence, the door finally opened.
Lewis stood at the doorway with a serious and cold look on his face. His eyes showed a hint of annoyance as he looked at Nina. Seeing that Lewis was finally willing to open the door, Nina immediately put on a sad expression.
“Lewis, Dion locked me out. Can I stay here just for one night?” she pleaded. “I’ll be quiet and won’t bother you. I just need a place to sleep.”
Her tone was sincere and humble. That’s all meant to make him lower his guard.
Without saying a word, Lewis stepped aside and opened the door wider.
Nina was thrilled and quickly walked in, but her happiness didn’t last long when she saw Lewis walk out right after her.
She quickly asked, “Lewis, what are you doing?”
“I’ll sleep in the living room.”
Nina’s eyes widened in disbelief.
He would rather sleep on a small couch outside than share a room with her?
Was she that repulsive to him?

While Nina was furious, Lewis had already left the room and lay down on the small sofa in the living room, which was too small for his tall body.
His indifference burned her pride.
It looked like she’ll have to use some tricks!
Meanwhile, Athena and Zaden had already been at the summer camp for a week.
The camp lasted for a month. Athena carefully counted the days. They had about two more weeks until the camp was over.
Although Teri still hadn’t started speaking, she was visibly much happier.
It seemed like she’s doing much better.
That was enough for Athena.
That night, after tucking Teri into bed, Athena went to the living room for a drink of water. But as soon as she walked in, she was surprised to see someone sitting quietly in the shadows.
“Zaden?”
Hearing Athena’s voice, Zaden quietly locked his phone.
“What’s up?”
Athena immediately noticed something off about his expression. He was frowning as if something was weighing on his mind.
Since they had become allies of sorts, she hesitated only a moment before sitting down beside him.
“I came out to get some water and I didn’t expect to see you here. Do you have some kind of problem you
can’t solve? You can talk to me about it.”
Zaden looked lost for a second, then shook his head and chuckled lightly.
“It’s nothing.”
Alright then!
Athena had planned to be a good listener, but since Zaden said it was nothing, it must be something he didn’t want her to know, perhaps something about his business. In that case, she shouldn’t press him further.
After all, those things were too complicated and she wouldn’t understand.

As she turned around, Zaden suddenly spoke.
“Athena, can I ask you something?”
