They pushed the shopping cart into the supermarket. Athena and Teri were in charge of picking things, while Zaden followed behind, pushing the cart quietly.

As Athena picked out some food, she caught sight of Zaden and Teri standing close together. Teri seemed curious about something, and Zaden was patiently explaining it to her.

Athena couldn’t help smiling. She secretly took out her phone and snapped a photo of the two of them.

She had never seen a scene like this with Lewis. He never had much patience for Dion. It was always her who was calming Dion down.

Honestly, Zaden really was a good father.

Just as she finished taking the picture, Zaden looked up and caught her red–handed.

Caught taking a secret photo, Athena gave an awkward smile and immediately admitted her mistake. “Um, I thought you and Teri looked really sweet, so I just took a picture.”

Zaden walked over and said, “Let me see it.”

Athena held the phone out to him, then said, “Isn’t this picture very sweet? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of you and Teri together. Is this your first one?”

Zaden nodded. “You take good pictures.”

Athena immediately waved it off. “No, it’s just that you’re handsome. That’s why the photo turned out so nice.”

Zaden was very pleased to hear that.

So she did think he was handsome.

He smiled faintly. “Can you send me that photo?”

“Of course! Right away.” Athena was secretly delighted that he liked it. She sent him the photo

at once.

Zaden took out his phone, looked at the picture, and nodded in approval. “It’s really well taken.”

Then, as if remembering something, he asked, “Do you want to take one with Teri too?”

Athena scrolled through the photos and smiled. “Zaden, you’re actually pretty good at this! These shots look like they were taken by a professional.”

Zaden just smiled.

Wasn’t it because the models are so pretty that all the photographer had to do was press the shutter.

Athena forwarded the photos to herself.

Just as she was about to hand his phone back, a message popped up on the screen.

“You got married?”

The sender’s profile picture was of a woman. Athena froze for a moment, thinking the person who messaged Zaden seemed very familiar with him.

Could it be his ex–girlfriend?

“What’s wrong?” Zaden asked when he noticed her standing still with his phone in hand. He walked over, his tone calm but curious.

Athena quickly collected herself, forcing a small smile as she handed the phone back.
