When he first learned about Teri, there hadn’t been any joy–maybe even a hint of resentment. But as Teri got older, the bond between them slowly grew.

“Mr. Storm.” Tommy opened the car door.

Zaden looked up at him. “Well?”

Athena watched Tommy nervously, too, waiting for his report.

“We found some footage. The maid didn’t take Ms. Teri to the car. She led her into a small alley instead, and there weren’t any cameras there.”

His face darkened. “So you’re saying the maid is a suspect?”

Normally, something like this should never happen.
