Chapter 161 Raven’s Feast
Finally, Caroline grabbed a bowl of pumpkin soup as a little side dish.
When she finished and tried to stand up, her stomach felt like a big balloon.
As for Raven, Caroline had already refilled his bowl five or six times.
Yes, after the first big pot, every refill was three pots at a time!
This time, Raven had eaten over ten pots.
And he still seemed ready for more.
But you could tell his eating pace had slowed a bit–he wasn’t as hungry as before.

Jet, on the other hand, hadn’t finished the huge bowl of parrot feed Caroline gave him. He was sitting nearby, full and hiccupping.
But even hiccuping, he kept fawning over Raven.
“Raven eats so well! Raven’s amazing!”
Raven focused on his food and ignored Jet, but his slightly wagging tail betrayed him–he was clearly enjoying it.
When Raven finished the three pots and looked at Caroline again with big, hopeful eyes, Caroline felt a chill run down her spine.
“Raven, I was actually pretty proud today after clearing out a few supply warehouses… but now, I don’t feel proud at all. You just taught me what it really means to be out–eaten by a half- grown pup.”
Caroline almost started to cry.
But what could she do? Refill his bowl, of course.
This time, three huge pots again.
One pot of dog food, one of boiled meat, and one of pet treats.
Raven kept devouring everything.
After finishing, Caroline kept refilling.

This time, as soon as she poured the meat, Raven pawed at the pot and stared at her with his big eyes.
Caroline understood immediately–finally, he was full.
Sure enough, after finishing that pot, Raven flopped down nearby, looking perfectly content.
But Caroline felt the sting in her wallet.
He’d just used his powers, hauled a few carts, and now eaten 20 pots of food!
And the useless storage–space–weren’t the dog biscuits supposed to restore his abilities? She hadn’t seen any effect.
Suddenly, a chill ran down her spine at a possibility.
She looked at Raven, now half–asleep by the warm stove, and thought, Everything from storage space is always guaranteed.
If Raven hadn’t eaten the storage space food, maybe he would’ve eaten even more!
Caroline shivered by the stove.
Then she sulked, muttering that Raven ate too much and would bankrupt her, wishing she’d stocked more dog food and meat, and on and on.
Just then, she noticed a dark paw reaching toward her.
Caroline froze, seeing Raven with a droopy, reluctant face.
She felt a bit annoyed. What, I can’t even complain now?
But then she noticed the paw was wrapped in a rope–and it looked familiar.
She turned Raven’s paw and saw the purple storage space pendant dangling from it.
“Y–you’re giving me back the storage space pendant?”
Caroline was overjoyed.
She let a drop of her blood into the storage space and confirmed Raven had indeed released the pendant.
For the first time, she saw just how much Raven had carried during the mission.
