Neither of them had weapons; it was close–quarters hand–to–hand combat.

Caroline wanted to step in, but Kay stopped her. “They’re just sparring.”

But Caroline could tell Tyler wasn’t using full strength.

“Accept your loss,” Tyler said calmly, but his gaze was on Niko.

Niko took a deep breath and finally just nodded.

Next, two more soldiers came up and sparred with Tyler.

“Now it makes sense how you got your firearms,” Niko sighed.
