“That’s exactly it, Farm One can constantly sense your thoughts. Sometimes it randomly grants your wishes. Here, give Jet a drop of this stuff, and you’ll see what happens,” Jasper said smugly.

Caroline’s eye twitched. No way… seriously?

Jasper, of course, looked absolutely thrilled, practically beaming with anticipation. His expression screamed, “Caroline, you have to try it. Don’t let me down, give it to Jet!”

Caroline, feeling slightly bad for Jet, didn’t go through with the experiment. Instead, she traded a cat treat with Jasper in exchange for the truth about what the flower droplets actually did. One drop was enough to mute a person for an entire day.

Well then. Next time someone comes up to the 66th floor to pick a fight, I’ll just spray it in their face and enjoy the peace and quiet for 24 hours.

So, after storing that mostly useless but maybe one–day–helpful cannon and its limited stash of shells, Caroline planted both directly into Farm One, curious to see if it would grow something bizarre or possibly useful.

Caroline examined them carefully and saw they were all in military packaging, bags stamped with the names of specific units. It was obvious Harry and the Lowlands had of people hiding in shelters, probably taken right out of their mouths.

After bagging up all the food, Caroline moved on to the third section. This one was more chaotic, just a messy pile of various goods.

Most of it was valuables, gold, gems, and other high–priced items. But judging from the wear and tear on many of them, they clearly hadn’t come from clean sources. A lot of these had been stripped straight from desperate civilians.

And the gold? Endless. Two full crates overflowing with all kinds of gold jewelry, glowing brilliantly under the beam of Caroline’s headlamp.

She stored everything in her storage space, planning to sort through it later.

But barely a moment after the items went in, Caroline felt her entire storage space begin to tremble violently.

It wasn’t the usual “I just found something delicious, give it to me” kind of vibration. No–this was Jasper, practically shaking the entire dimension, frantically urging Caroline to get inside right now.

The vibrations were so intense, it honestly felt like Jasper was about to cry from panic.

She had no choice, Caroline immediately entered the storage space.

What she saw inside? Total chaos. Literal chaos.

Because now there was a giant rooster, over three feet tall, made entirely of gleaming metal, strutting around like it owned the place.

Its comb was shiny and sharp–looking, and the damn thing looked proud, chest puffed out, standing tall and alert.

“What … is this?” Caroline muttered, completely stunned.

“Caroline! It’s Farm One! All that energy you dumped in just now, it triggered a full–blown harvest! This–this thing popped out! And it won’t listen!” Jasper shouted, leaping through the

air.

The metal rooster was chasing Jasper around like it had a personal vendetta. It kept lunging and pecking as Jasper scrambled to get away.

The poor creature’s pudgy body bounced off walls and shelves as it tried to escape, practically flying from surface to surface.

But that rooster wasn’t easy to deal with either. It flapped its metallic wings wildly, leaping and dashing around, and every time its wings clipped something, they sent sparks flying off the
