“Of course, I’d be happy to meet them,” Edward said, his voice full of joy. “I’m so glad you’ve reconnected with your real parents. When should we arrange the meeting?”

Alicia replied, “Whenever you’re free, I’ll talk to them.”

“And what does your father do?” Edward asked, a bit more curious now.

Alicia answered lightly, “He’s a university professor. Honestly, I’m not really sure what subject he teaches.”
