Chapter 141
Alpha Ethan’s POV
I watched as she went for the hem of her nightgown, my hand shooting out to stop her.
“No, Raven.
You don’t have to do this,” I said softly, my voice rough with restraint.
Inside, my wolf was clawing and howling, demanding to claim her, to take what was his. But I couldn’t take advantage of her not when her emotions were all over the place, not when she was hurting and confused.
She looked at me, her eyes shimmering with tears and something else something raw and aching.
“This is what I want, Ethan. Just go ahead and do it,” she whispered, her voice laced with desperation.
I inhaled deeply, trying to rein in the beast within. “Are you sure about this?” I asked, not trusting myself.
She nodded once, firmly. “I’m tired of fighting. I’m tired of pretending like I don’t feel anything when you touch me. I can’t sleep, I can’t breathe unless it’s you. So please… either do it or let me go find someone who will.”
My wolf let out a furious growl at the very idea. Someone else touching her? Claiming what was mine?
My jaw tightened. “Don’t ever say that again.”
Her eyes narrowed slightly, and her lips parted to argue, but I didn’t give her the chance.
“I can’t stand the thought of you going to another man to satisfy you,” I growled low, stepping toward her. “Not when I’m right here. Not when I’ve been burning with the need for you.”
Her breath hitched. “Then show me, Alpha,” she dared; her voice trembling.
I reached out and cupped her face gently, brushing my thumb across her cheek. She leaned into my touch like she’d been starving for it.
“I wish things were right,” I murmured, dipping my head to kiss her softly. “You would’ve been bearing my mark by now. But fate…”
“Fate is cruel,” she whispered.
I nodded slowly, then let myself give in not to lust, but to something deeper, something inevitable.
My lips captured hers again, firmer this time. She responded immediately, her hands tangling in my shirt. I pulled her closer, breathing in her scent lavender and something uniquely hers, something that always drove me mad.
I didn’t rush. I wouldn’t treat her like something to conquer.
I kissed her jaw, then down her neck, sucking gently on her pulse point.
She gasped, arching into me, her skin trembling beneath my lips.

“How I wish things were different,” I whispered again against her throat. “You should have been mine already.
She let out a soft moan, her fingers slipping beneath the hem of my shirt.
I took her hands in mine and brought them to my lips. “Let me.”
Her eyes held mine as I slowly undressed her, taking in every inch of her like a man witnessing a miracle.
She was breathtaking soft curves, smooth skin, and a fire in her eyes that made my chest tighten painfully.
“You’re just perfect,” I whisp
my voice hoarse. “So damn amazing.”
She bit her lip, looking away for a moment. “Don’t say things you don’t mean.”
I tilted her chin up. “I mean every word.”
Her hands moved to my waist, tugging at my belt, and I let hers me too. There was no shame, no hesitation between us–just raw honesty, bare skin, and unspoken longing.
When she was laid beneath me, her body trembling slightly with anticipation, I kissed her again.
“You don’t have to be strong right now,” I murmured. “You can just feel.”
Tears welled in her eyes but didn’t fall.
I
I traced a line down her body with my fingers, memorizing every detail. She was warm, soft, perfect.
“I want this, Ethan,” she said again, more sure now.
But I still couldn’t rush.
I wanted to memorize her sounds, her breath, the way she moved under me like she was made for me. I kissed her collarbone, her shoulder, her chest. Every time she gasped or moaned my name, it drove me deeper into the haze of desire.
I lowered
my head between her legs as I used my finger to trace a line along her pussy.
She released a low moan as I inserted a finger into her she was fucking tight despite how many times we had made out.
In a slow pace, I pumped my finger in and out of her as I added another one, and I couldn’t help but love the sounds of her
moans.
After some time, I brought out my fingers from her already dripping pussy and cleaned them with my tongue.
“You smell like heaven,” I groaned against her skin. “And you taste even better.”
She let out a small laugh, breathless and shaky. “Stop teasing me.”
“I’m not teasing,” I said with a grin. Just savoring.”
She arched against me, and I couldn’t hold back anymore. I positioned myself above her, pausing.

Chapter 141
“Look at me.”
She did.
“Tell me to stop now, and I will.”
Her lips parted. “Don’t you dare stop.”
Inodded, pressing a kiss to her lips as I slowly entered her. She gasped, clutching at my shoulders.
Her warmth wrapped around me like silk and fire. I held myself still, letting her adjust.
Then I moved slowly, deeply. She moaned my name again and again, as if it was the only word she knew.
Her legs wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer. Our bodies moved together like they’d always belonged.
I kissed her through it all her lips, her throat, her shoulder marking her with my touch, if not my bite. Not yet.
But my wolf was howling with satisfaction.
Her nails raked down my back, and her voice cried out in broken syllables, her body trembling beneath mine.
I whispered her name like a prayer, like a promise.
And she screamed mine like it was the only truth in the world.
We moved together, faster now, our breaths mingling, sweat glistening on our skin. The room was filled with the sound of us moans, gasps, skin against skin, the whispered name of a lover you thought you lost but somehow found again.
“I love you,” I murmured into her ear, even though I didn’t mean to say it out loud.
She froze for a second, but then her arms tightened around me, and she whispered, “Don’t stop.”
I didn’t.
And when we reached the edge, when her scream filled the room and my release followed moments later, I knew! completely, hopelessly lost in her.
She was mine, whether she wants it or not.
I was

Chapter 142
Alpha Ethan’s POV
I was woken up by the constant buzzing of an alarm clock. I slowly opened my eyes, adjusting to the pale light seeping in through the thin curtains.
It took a moment for me to register where I was the unfamiliar layout of the room, the soft scent of lavender that still clung to the air, and the small size of the bed, and then… My gaze shifted to my side, where Raven lay curled up beneath the sheets, her breathing soft and steady.
The memories of last night came flooding back like a tidal wave. Finding her drunk. The argument. The passion.
The pain in her eyes. The way she kissed me with desperation, as if trying to forget the world through the touch of our lips. And the way she craved for me and a part of me still hurt, knowing she only craved me when she wasn’t in her right state of mind; she wouldn’t have done that if she was okay.
And it hurt, but there was nothing I could do about it, not when I was the one at fault.
The alarm buzzed louder, snapping me out of my thoughts. I reached out and switched it off immediately, not wanting to disturb her.
She needed sleep peace, something she rarely had in this pack, especially because of me.
I turned back to her, brushing a stray curl from her face. She looked so small lying there, on the bed her features relaxed for once, the tension between us gone from her brows.
I could count the times I had woken up beside her on one hand, and yet this morning felt… different. Like it was the first time. Like it was meant to be this way.
“If only things were right between us,” I murmured quietly, my thumb grazing the softness of her cheek. “I would give anything to wake up beside you every day.”
My wolf stirred at the words, whimpering in agreement. He was calmer now, satisfied for the moment, but still aching for more more of her acceptance, her affection. Her trust.
Carefully, I removed her hand from around my waist, which made her to flinch a little but thankful she didn’t wake up. She had clung to me in her sleep, perhaps without realizing it.
That alone made something inside me ache. It was rare, these glimpses of her vulnerability. She’d built so many walls around herself, and rightly so, I was the one who forced her to put them up in the first place.
I climbed out of bed, the cold air nipping at my skin as I quickly dressed.
My eyes kept darting back to her as I buttoned my shirt, like Lwas afraid she would disappear if I looked away. Once I was fully clothed, I stood there in silence, watching her one last time before I left the room.
Closing the door behind me softly, I made my way down the hallway and into my own quarters. The familiar scent
