Raven’s POV

It’s been barely two hours since I woke up from my coma, and already Alpha Ethan had instructed the nurse to prepare me for discharge. No room for

discussion. No moment to breathe.

I sighed in frustration as I held my bandaged head. It throbbed dully, every movement reminding the of the incident Ed rather forget. But pain, I was starting to learn, was something I’d grown too familiar with since entering this cursed pack.

My fingers wrapped around the small basket on my lap–the one Beta Matthew had leh beside my hospital bed. It contained a few of my things and two bottles of lavender essential oil.
