Jensen finally understood why Sebastian had completely ignored Roxanne in the past. With a competitor like Liana, who had no boundaries, no shame, and loved to meddle, Roxanne was indeed unlucky.
When Roxanne tried to crash into the pillar—though it had been unnecessary—it turned out to be a good tactic. It was a counter-attack!
Anyway, Jensen was on Roxanne's side for this.
Mason watched Roxanne leave with a cold gaze.
…
Sebastian grabbed Roxanne's hand and pulled her into the Rolls-Royce parked on the side of the road. His expression was dark and stormy. His grip on her wrist was firm, and his eyes were filled with red anger.
Roxanne struggled a couple of times but couldn't free herself. She felt his grip tighten further. Frowning, she let out a pained cry. "It hurts!"
He finally loosened his grip slightly but still held on tightly.
She said helplessly, "You're making me uncomfortable. Please let go of me."
Sebastian's gaze darkened as it settled on her. His voice was rough. "Why did you push me to Liana after I chose you today?"
She was speechless and rolled her eyes. "You said you chose me today?"
She was genuinely amused by his self-righteous tone.
He stared at her seriously. "I chose you."
Roxanne was speechless and gave him a big eye roll. "Sebastian, do you even know what choosing means? Why did you choose me? Because I was going to crash into a pillar? Before I did that, you were still holding Liana! How dare you say you chose me?"
