Til be using Jace’s until it’s cleaned, and new furniture is brought in.” She shot right back, stepping up to her, “You didn’t win, all you did was see me moved into Jace’s office, so I can be closer to him every single day.” the folded her arms across her chest and stared down at Nora “He even apologized for ruining the furniture and offered to have the room fully sanitized, and I can redecorate if I want, told me it would be nice that we

can sit in his office and work together.”

Did it really surprise her? No. He’d left the suite pissed off that she’d treated him like a play thing, just like he did her “Go ahead, just remember every single time, I get hit with pain, I’ll make you see us together, so what

the last time was twice in one day, wasn’t it.

“I bet I can walk into that Alpha’s office and incite him or his beast into mating me in there, just like I did your office. Only I don’t think he’ll be willing to remodel it simply because we’ve had s*x in there, and you don’t like the smell. I also don’t care that you’re in his office all day, every day, be my guest.

“I wonder Gloria,” she laughed softly as she turned and walked away, murmured softly, amusingly, “How you’ll feel if I f**k him up against the Luna Suite door.” She heard the angry snarl rip out of Gloria and turned to look at her, saw what she was waiting for, she had timed her coming downstairs to Jace and his unit to

walking to the packhouse.

Training was finished and though they were talking she saw all of them looking at the two of them. They’d heard Gloria’s snarl, she shot down the mind–link. ‘T’ll tell him I want to see what the Luna suite looks like, then f**k him in your own bed. She murmured down the mind–link as she once again turned away.

She knew it was coming; she saw utter rage on that woman’s face. This was the moment Gloria was going to attack her, and right before not only Jace, but his entire unit. She felt a hand curl around her arm, and she was yanked around to see a hand swinging right at her all claws out. f**k that’s going to hurt, she thought, but she wouldn’t get out of the way of it, had no wolfen healing at this moment in time either, so it would leave her scarred for life, a permanent reminder for Jace and this pack to see that the Luna had attacked their Alpha’s Mate, just what she wanted.

Only to have herself knocked out of the way, a body wrapped around hers to protect her, and she heard an angry cry come from Gloria as well. She’d missed her intended target and was unhappy about it. She looked up from her place on the floor to find Jace staring down at her, and she could smell his blood.

Oh, that was even better. Gloria had just attacked and injured the Alpha to the pack. “What the hell is going on?” he demanded to know.

“She came at me all angry about us having s*x in her office!” she stated right back. “Ask Gloria why, she was the one to attack me over it, you were the one that took us in there, not I, she should be mad at you, not me.” she shoved at him, and he got up where she saw his Beta had a hold of Gloria, had her by both wrists.

“My office now.” Jace snarled out and curled a hand around her wrist and pulled her along himself, only letting go when she was inside the room. Waved her to a chair, she went she wanted to know just what he

was going to do about this attack on her.

Gloria was hauled into the office and pushed roughly towards Jace by his Beta Mark. She stumbled a little

and then righted herself and walked right over to stand with Jace. “She said very mean things about me, Just reacted without much thought, as all wolves do” Gloria stated, “My apologies Jace. You know I’m not one for violent outbursts or attacking anyone. My wolf was offended by her vile words.”

Nora sat and looked at the woman, moved her eyes to Jace himself as he looked from one to the other. She’d once asked him if he’d punish his Luna. She’d never once seen him so much an raise his voice to the woman, She was perfect in Jace’s eyes and Nora was anything but. She watched Matt sit down across from her and raised an eyebrow at him, she wondered if he was wondering just how much it would tick her off if he

intervened.

She saw him register her mood and a corner of her mouth tilted up, but she let it go. She’d actually done

nothing wrong and turned to look at Jace. He was watching her and Matt, she realized, and shook her head

I did nothing wrong, all I did was come downstairs to go to breakfast and Gloria came out of this office and ranted at me about us having s*x in the Luna’s office.”

“It’s disrespectful of you.” Gloria shot at her.

“Me?” Nora shook her head. “I didn’t walk us in there, didn’t even know it was your office, I was too hot and

bothered to care, could have been a communal bathroom for all I cared.” She stated with a half smirk, “Hell,

he could have had me right there in the dining room and I wouldn’t have cared who saw it. I’m his Mate and

Mate’s f**k all the time.”

“Enough.” Jace grated out. She’d not seen him at all last night. He’d not like knowing what she’d done to him,

couldn’t handle it. He could, it seemed, dish it out but not take it. “Gloria, you can’t hit her, for any reason. She

is my mate. What words did she state that insulted you and enraged your beast?” he asked.

“That she could f**k you in my bed if she wanted to,” Gloria stated and looked up at him. “It was cruel and hurtful, so very disrespectful. I reacted without thought.” she sighed heavily.

His eyes moved right to Nora’s now. “Did you actually say that?” he frowned right at her.

“Yes, I did.” Nora answered honestly. “As you just pointed out, I am your Mate, and we can f**k wherever we

want. I was simply making a point that she was in the wrong about chastising me for what, having s*x with you, my Mate, the Alpha to the pack. Or is she allowed to dictate when and where we have s*x, and I have no

say in it at all?” she folded her arms across her chest and stared right at him pointedly.

His eyes moved from her to Gloria and back to her. Yes please do choose she thought. “She attacked me. I walked away from her not wanting to deal with her. You’d have known if I had attacked her first, she’d have

screamed down the mind–link for you, telling you I was attacking her,” she put to him.

She watched Gloria step closer to him as he stood weighing up who was actually in the wrong. The woman

he loved was pissed off about knowing they’d had s*x, but his Mate was challenging if his mistress who held Luna rank actually had the right to do that. It seemed he didn’t even know which way to jump himself.

Gloria reached out and touched him, slid her hand around his arm slowly, gently, lovingly and Nora hissed in pain as she felt those pains of betrayal on her arm, turned her own eyes to her arm before turning them on

those two.

Anger welled in her so quickly that this b*th of a she–wolf had the audacity to do this right here with all of them in the room. She let the tears fall as she gripped her own arm, as Gloria’s thumb moved slowly over Jace’s skin, extending the intimacy of her touch.

She saw him look right at her, and frown, so he was going to play at not knowing, but she felt Matt rush past

her and yank Gloria away from Jace. When he picked up on her actual real pain and knew what was going on, that she was standing there suffering the pains of betrayal and her own Mate was allowing it to happen for

all to see.

She bit her lip and wiped her own tears away. He really was a bastard, she thought to herself, and turned and walked away to leave the room, found Matt right in front of her baring her way. “Move.” She grated out.

“No.” he shook his head. She knew he was feeling everything right at that minute, her pain, anger and rage, how much right that very minute she wanted to hurt her own Mate. He was getting it all. “You just felt the

pains of betrayal.”

“What?” Jace gasped into the room. “You’re all here, how is it possible?”

“She lies,” Gloria stated. “She is faking it because she knows if you’ll Alpha order her, she’ll have to tell the truth, and you’ll see she lied about everything. She is just being childish and trying to get me punished.”

Matt was staring right at her. He knew what she’d felt because he’d sprung into action over it. “Like he would ever punish his Luna.” She stated, “Move Matthew, I want out of this office, and I’m going to go through you, if you don’t move.” Her words were deadly calm, but it was the anger welling inside of her that he was feeling she watched him tilt his head as Rosa pushed forward and looked right at him, and a low menacing grow!

Her own fury had roused her own beast, it seemed, she watched him step slowly out of the way and pull the door open for her to leave. She went or everyone in this room was going to be in a fight with her and her beast, because of their own Mate’s uncaring attitude of causing her pain, and then blatantly lying about it to her face, even though everyone had seen it.
