Revenge served in a black dress (Nora and Jace) novel Chapter 19

CH 19

She stalked from that office and made her way up to the Luna Suite, and stood staring at it, a place that should have been designated for her and her alone, but another lived in there. Resided directly across the hall from the Alpha Suite, this room now before her was supposed to be the place she got to go when angry with her Alpha Mate. It was supposed to be the Luna’s room of sanctuary.

But no, it wasn’t for her, it wasn’t for Rosa either. It was a constant reminder of everything she and her wolf were entitled to, but could never claim as their own. Their eyes moved to the word Luna and a hollowed-out almost evil laugh escaped from her and her beast. It was f*****g hilarious. She, as the Alpha’s GoddessGifted Mate, would never hold the title that should be hers.

He’d never once asked her to attend Luna training, yet was disappointed in her for not wanting to be his Luna That was what she’d gotten yesterday. Everything he did was to his advantage, made it out like she didn’t want to be here, didn’t want to learn or be the Luna. When, in reality, he had a Luna, and refused to offer her, his Mate the role.

He wondered why she wouldn’t conform, do as he told her and bow down to him. It was because she was supposed to be his equal, but he saw her as nothing but a thing he could play with when he wanted to. This room stood for everything she hated about this pack.

Her clawed hand reached out and scratched down the door as she gripped that plaque and yanked it off the door, and Rosa crushed it with her wolfen strength and dropped it to the floor. She and Rosa had been happy once, full of life, smiling all the time, but now he’d ruined them. Their own Mate had set out to destroy them, and was letting the pack believe that she was a terrible Mate, when in fact it was him. He had another woman and had given her everything, yet gave his own Mate nothing in return, bar mate bond s*xx. Meaningless s*x at that, because it was just the mate bond, not love. He didn’t even like her. She knew because if he did, he’d want them to work out.

He would not make her stay in the room across the hall, where she had to step out of it and the first thing she always saw were the words Luna Suite, and know the woman he really loved lived in there. She couldn’t understand him or anyone in this place. No one cared that, that shewolf lorded herself around the pack using the Luna’s pack card. No one cared that their Alpha did not love her.

They were all happy for him and Gloria, sat with the two of them and had meals. They all hung out together the Alpha, his unit and the Luna and her unit, and where was Nora? Where was Rosa? Where was their place? Nowhere, she wasn’t to be at his side or on his arm. They’d not even cared to notice when Rosa had buried herself so very deeply that she was gone from Nora.

ou were

No one here cared about what she felt or didn’t feel. Nora was nothing, Rosa was nothing, supposed to be his Luna, but were nothing to him, just something to keep here to make him stronger, give

him an heir that was all.

How was it even possible that she, an Alpha’s Mate, was not seen as the Luna to a pack? It was unheard of as far as she knew. She felt her fist’s ball and smelled her own blood, closed her eyes and breathed it in. It was a sweet, tangy metallic scent to her and Rosa, and she felt her arms go limp at her side and her head kind of lulled around in a circle.

She was still alive, that was what her blood showed her. If she bled, she was still alive and could hurt them.

all. A massive roar ripped out of her, everything she and noen had as they stood there and stared at that door, that they hated with every fiber of their beings. Then they just let go of everything, stopped trying to maintain control of their emotions, let it fill her up completely and overflow, then there was no stopping it

now

She and Rosa launched themselves at that door, hitting and kicking it, roaring at it in a full rage, never letting up until it was completely destroyed. They did not care for the damage to themselves that they were doing by ripping and clawing the wooden façade away to reveal the steel reinforced door behind it.

Nothing was going to stop them from getting inside that room. They tore at the door frame and busted the lock on the door, got their claws inside that metal reinforcement and pulled and roared at it until it came away, and they could yank that door right off its hinges and toss it to the ground a bloodied mess full of their

claw marks.

Then she was inside of that room, and Rosa was ripped right out of her and biting and tearing into everything she saw. She would destroy everything. Her wolf clawed at the walls, ripped at the furniture and destroyed everything in that walkin, tore up the bed, until there was nothing but springs, leaped off the bed and

smashed all the mirrors, ripping everything with her claws.

They stalked around in that suite, upon broken glass and broken wooden furniture, uncaring as it pierced her skin and drew blood. That just meant they were still alive. They snarled into that room when there was nothing left to destroy, all their anger and fury unleashed on the thing they hated the most.

Her wolf stalked them from the Luna Suite and stood staring at the Alpha Suite, the place where they resided. only because their Mate was cruel, and wanted to see them suffer every single day. Well, now he would suffer, he would feel the pain they felt, have his heart ripped right out of his chest. They turned at the sound of her wolf’s name being stated softly, Rosa?It was gentle and could pass for loving, and full of concern and care, and their eyes met with brilliant green ones. Hydro, Rosa’s wolfen Mate on the surface of his human counterpart, and pain tore at Rosa to know he would allow this to happen to them. To let his human, humiliate them and spread it throughout the pack, that they were the ones that were destroying their GoddessGifted Mate Bond, allowing his human to talk down about them, yet still wanted to use their body

for himself.

Then she was just gone, vanished away from Nora and her body was shifted back and pain racked her as she felt the injuries to herself from the destruction she and her wolf had wrought. She stumbled about and fell down, felt hands on her and the sparks of their mate bond against her skin, and she snapped her head around and bit the hand that dared to touch her.

Don’t come near me.” she snarled out and moved away from him. It was clear to her not even Rosa wanted to deal with her wolfen Mate. Turning her eyes on him, she bit out Just get away from me,she could see his whole unit standing down the hall behind them. All of you just f**k off.She spat out and pushed herself up from the ground.

You’re injured,Jace told her.

e wall to

Like you f*****g care how I feel. She bit out and turned and walked away from him, a hand on the steady herself. She made her way to the Omega stairs and pushed through them. He didn’t care, had never cared, and just showed her how much. He didn’t even believe she’d felt pains of betrayal, even though it happened right in front of him.

Allowed Gloria to touch him like that, and dismiss her pain, claiming he did nothing, so she’d felt nothing. Her

hands were bloodied, and her feet were bloodied from walking on all the glass. At least this pain, she knew was self inflicted, and she could bear it. Needed it to stop thinking about him and how much she did not matter to him

It was unlikely she thought, that she could hurt him. She wanted to but didn’t know anymore how to, likely the only thing that was ever going to cause him any pain, was if she killed Gloria, that woman was all that mattered to him.

She sighed to herself as she pushed through the outside door and kind of just staggered to a stop, as the morning sun shone on her, it was a bright beautiful clear day that did not match her mood. She sagged down onto the ground and looked at her naked body. There were cuts all over her hands and feet, down her legs. She could feel pain at the corners of her mouth, likely where Rosa had been injured

She closed her eyes and leaned back on the door, too tired to do anything at all anymore. I’ll push past it all,” she told herself. Become stronger from all of this. It’s not going to beat us, Rosa, it’s not.” She murmured even as she felt darkness rush towards her, to claim her, and she felt herself fall sideways, saw the world tilt

on its axis and then the blessed oblivion of unconsciousness claimed her completely
