Chapter 190 Fan Encounters and Flustered Bosses
“Brendon, can I take this after-”
“No.”
Sharon didn’t even get to finish before Brendon shut her down.
“You just got transferred to the secretary department. No taking time off.”
Sharon pouted. “Fine. I’ll hurry back.”
She glanced at the time and bolted.
Brendon stood there, completely annoyed.
Just then, a secretary came over carrying a neatly packed lunch.
“Brendon, your lunch is here.”
He glanced at it. “You eat it. I’m heading out.”

By the time Logan arrived at the clinic, Becky had just finished her work. She got into his company van.
As a public figure, Logan didn’t dare step out–he’d be mobbed. The moment she stepped in, he pulled her into a warm hug.
“Lily, Logan missed you so much.”
As twins, Logan always had a slightly deeper bond with Becky than the other brothers. Maybe it was because they spent ten months together in their mother’s belly.
Becky was just as affectionate with him.
“If your fans saw this, they’d probably try to yank my hair out.”
“Don’t worry. Logan will protect you.”
The two teased each other, laughing.
From the front seat, a cheerful face turned back and waved at Becky. Hi, Ms. Becky! I’m Logan’s assistant–just call me Ander. So happy to finally meet you. You’re gorgeous!”
Becky smiled. “Nice to meet you, Ander.”
Ander grinned. “My mom’s actually a big fan of yours. She introduced me to you, and I’m the one who introduced Logan.”
“So that’s how it happened. Too bad that day your brother had on a mask and a hat, and I was wearing a mask too–we didn’t even recognize each other.”
Logan still regretted that moment. They could’ve reunited so much earlier.
After chatting briefly, Ander left the siblings alone.
Becky asked, “Logan, are you in Dracovia for a job?”
“Yeah Thought I’d drop by and see you too
How long are you staying?”
“Leaving tomorrow night.”
“That soon?”
“Yeah, more work bned up. What do you want to eat for lunch?”

“Logan, I’ve got a close friend named Sharon. She’s a huge fan of yours. That autograph and poster I asked for? They were for her. I invited her to lunch too–hope that’s okay?”
Logan was always good to his fans. “Of course. Even if she weren’t a fan, if she’s your friend, I’d still want to meet her.”
“Perfect! She has to go back to work in the afternoon. Let’s eat somewhere near her office. There are plenty of upscale spots with good privacy.”
“Sounds good.”
Becky gave the driver an address.
When Sharon saw Logan standing in front of her, she practically burst into a scream. But Becky had anticipated it and clamped a hand over her mouth.
The scream turned into muffled whimpers.
Once Sharon calmed down a little, Becky finally let go.
Logan flashed a dazzling smile and extended a hand. “Hi, Sharon. I’m Logan.”
“H–Hi!”
Sharon reached out with both hands, gripping his tightly. Her face turned bright red.
It was exactly how Becky had looked when she met Samson.
And just like Becky back then, Sharon refused to let go of Logan’s hand.
Logan, unusually patient today, didn’t say anything.
Just then, Brendon walked up and pried Sharon away, giving Logan a stiff, insincere smile. “Hello, superstar. I’m Brendon.”
Sharon blinked, caught off guard by Brendon’s sudden appearance.
What is he doing here?
He didn’t follow her, right?
But she quickly shook that idea away. Brendon? Follow her? Why would he? He wasn’t a creep.
Logan didn’t recognize Brendon but gave him a polite nod.
Brendon asked, “You don’t mind if I join you, do you?”
Logan turned to look at Becky, who explained, “He’s Sharon’s boss.”
Logan glanced between Brendon and Sharon. He pretty much got the picture.
“Sure,” he said.
And so, lunch for three became lunch for four.
Brendon and Sharon sat on one side, Becky and Logan on the other.
Sharon stared at Logan with stars in her eyes the entire time. Logan, used to this kind of look, calmly enjoyed his meal.
Sharon looked utterly starstruck.
Even her idol ate with such grace!
Among all of Shane’s fans, how many could say they’d actually eaten at the same table as him?
Brendon finally couldn’t take her googly eyes anymore. He turned to her and muttered, “Eat properly”

Sharon shot him a glare, clearly annoyed.
“Mr. Brendon, we’re not at the office. Don’t be so controlling.”
Ugh, so annoying!
Becky glanced up at them, eyes filled with amusement and curiosity.
They were having local food. Logan thoughtfully cut Becky’s steak for her.
She beamed.
Her eyes looked just like Logan’s when she smiled.
“Thanks, Logan!”
Sharon propped her chin on her hands, beyond envious.
She really wished she had a brother like that.
So spoiled!
Lunch ended up being a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
