“And then you’d come crying to us, whining about how unfair everything was. And like idiots, we spoiled you and covered for you, cleaning up every mess.

“And now that it’s all blown up in your face, you think it’s too much to apologize to Amelia and Selena in person?

“When you were living off the fame and perks from Nygard Entertainment, did it ever cross your mind that one day you might have to take responsibility?”

As Marcelo fired off each point, he didn’t even bother bringing up the whole Isabel situation- just saying this much was enough to make everything click into place.

All the things he’d been too blind or afraid to face were suddenly laid bare. And he finally realized how stupid he had been.
