At the mention of an introduction letter, Eliza frowned. “But I’ve already spent so much in Westbrook. Wouldn’t their system synchronize? When I came today, the staff told me if I traveled abroad, I could still use my account.”

“Yes, you can spend abroad. But certain projects are only available overseas. My skin graft here isn’t considered advanced. It doesn’t touch their core technology. As long as you have money and a bit of status, they’ll take you. That’s why I got in so easily.”

Eliza had to admit Soren’s reasoning made sense.
