Chapter 103 Sighs, Misunderstandings, and Family Drama
Every time she thought about these things, Mia wanted to sigh.

Hearing Mia sigh, Jeremy felt a strange sensation in his heart for no apparent reason, as if he was being rejected by his dear wife.
He couldn’t help but frown and, pretending to look pitiful, grumbled to Mia, “Mia, how could you not want me to come back! In your eyes, am I just an ATM?”
After speaking, he deliberately put on an injured expression and looked at her.
Hearing this, Mia playfully winked her big, watery eyes and laughed on purpose, “Honey, you’re overthinking. If you were an ATM, you’d be the most handsome and richest one in the world, and I’d only love this one ATM of yours! What do you think, still not happy?”
Mia was also a lady from a wealthy family, and her dowry was substantial. Of course, she wouldn’t treat him as an ATM; otherwise, she wouldn’t have married him.
Jeremy had already automatically ignored the word “ATM” and focused all his attention on the latter part of her sentence with delight.
My wife had actually said she only loved me!
At this thought, the grievance on his face disappeared in an instant, and he immediately put on a beaming expression.
He looked up and said proudly, “Of course, I’m the ATM you love the most! The money I work hard to earn is meant to be given to my beloved wife to spend! I’ll do anything as long as it makes my wife happy!”
On the 28th of December, Estella went to the hospital to pick up her mother to take her home.
However, she couldn’t find her mother.
After asking the nurse, she learned that her mother had been taken away by someone.
Her expression darkened, and she called her mother.
On the phone, Victoria said, “I had Nathaniel come to pick me up. You should come over quickly too. This year, we’ll celebrate the New Year as a family.”
Estella was taken aback by her mother’s unilateral decision and said angrily, “Mom, how many times have I told you not to go back to the Hartwell family. Since you won’t listen to me, let’s just spend the New Year apart.”
With that, she hung up the phone.
I don’t believe that if I don’t go to the Hartwell family, Victoria will stay there.
Victoria was surprised that her daughter had hung up on her and was also very angry.

**Finished
Nathaniel, who was standing beside her, asked, “Is Estella still unwilling to come back? Shall I go pick her up personally?”
Victoria was very dissatisfied with her daughter. She turned to her son–in–law and said with a smile, “Don’t pamper her. I’ll pretend to be sick later, and she will definitely come back.”
She knew her daughter was filial and would definitely not ignore her.
But no matter how she pretended to be sick in the following two days, Estella ignored her.
Out of options, Victoria had to say to Nathaniel, “It seems she’s determined to go against me. I don’t feel right staying at the Hartwell family this New Year. Nathaniel, I’ll come over again after you two reconcile afterwards.”
Nathaniel was also very annoyed that Estella didn’t fall for his tricks.
He wanted to say a few nice words to coax Victoria to stay and help him, but Victoria was already preparing to pack her luggage and leave.
Nathaniel didn’t stop her. He drank alone in the villa, sulking.
At that moment, a call from Madeline came through, and her tone was not friendly, “Nathaniel, why aren’t you coming home during the New Year? Also, what’s going on between you and Estella? If she doesn’t want to reconcile, that’s fine. You’re so excellent; do you really worry about not finding a wife?”
Hearing Madeline’s nagging, Nathaniel felt annoyed and hung up on her directly.
Madeline was instantly filled with anger.
Nathaniel’s sister, Naomi, was sitting beside her, eating a small cake. Hearing her mother’s huff after the call, she quickly asked, “Is brother’s company that busy? He’s not coming back to the old house for the New Year?”
Madeline snorted coldly, “I don’t know what he’s up to. He used to look down on Estella, but now he’s acting as if he won’t marry anyone but her.”
Naomi had just returned from a trip abroad and didn’t know about her brother’s and Estella’s situation.
She was surprised and said, “But doesn’t my brother like Isabelle?”
Madeline gave her a disdainful look, “Isabelle is not even as good as Estella. Don’t mention her to me!”
With both of her son’s relationships causing her distress, Madeline really wished she could empty the nonsense from her son’s mind.
Naomi quickly texted Isabelle to meet up.
