Chapter 120 Public Accusation
Finished
The woman shoved her phone inches from Selene and Estella’s faces. On the screen was a string of bank transfers–each one from her husband to Estella.
Every payment was over a thousand dollars.
Her voice was sharp and furious. “Take a good look! If you’re not his mistress, then why the h*11 is he sending you this much money? You think he’s just being generous?”
Estella stared at the screenshot, confused. She hadn’t received a single payment from this man.
It had to be fake.
But the other parents nearby–especially the moms–didn’t wait for the truth. Their faces shifted, their smiles faded, and suddenly, there was tension in the air.
Estella was beautiful. Too beautiful.
Some of them suddenly looked uneasy.
She’s so pretty… what if she flirts with my husband next?
The whispers started. Parents who had already planned to enroll their kids began mumbling excuses and quietly backing away.
Estella and Selene immediately picked up on it. The shift in mood was clear.
This wasn’t just about embarrassing Estella.
This wasn’t just about some jealous wife throwing a fit. She came here to ruin Estella’s name— and drag down Serenade Music Hub with her.
If they didn’t do something fast, the business they’d poured everything into could fall apart.
Estella clenched her jaw and looked the woman dead in the eye. “Ma’am, you’d better watch what you say. What you’re accusing me of is completely false, and it’s damaging my reputation and my career. I won’t let this go. I’m hiring an attorney, and I will be suing you for defamation.”
But the woman didn’t back down. She actually laughed, her expression full of smug confidence. “Oh, please. Go ahead and sue. Do you think that scares me? Do you really think someone like you can take me down? Keep dreaming.”
She even rolled her eyes at Estella with a smug little smirk that made everyone’s blood boil.

Then she doubled down. “Listen up. You’re going to give back every single dollar you took from my husband, And you’re going to stay the hell away from him. If I find out you’ve been anywhere near him, I’ll blow this up so big you won’t be able to show your face anywhere. And next time? I won’t be this polite.”
Then she turned and walked out, heels clicking, full of self–righteous attitude.
Estella stood there, shaking.
Selene looked around–people were still staring, still whispering. She clapped her hands loudly. “Alright, everyone–back to your work, please!”
Once the space was cleared out, she grabbed Estella by the hand and pulled her into the office.
As soon as the door shut, Selene blurted out, “Estella, do you even know that woman?”
Estella slowly shook her head. “I’ve never seen her before. And I’m pretty sure she’s not even a client.”
Selene’s eyes widened, and the fury hit her instantly. “Then who the h*ll is she? Do you think she was sent by a competitor to sabotage us? Because this feels personal. This is disgusting. We can’t just let this go—I’m serious, I want to take legal action. They messed with the wrong people.”
Just then, a notification pinged on Selene’s phone.
She picked it up and saw a message from a coworker.
When she opened it, her stomach dropped–it was a news article.
Five parents had come forward, accusing a teacher at Serenade Music Hub of having an affair, taking money from married men, and destroying families.
There was even a photo attached. It was Estella.
The story had already blown up online, sparking tons of attention and heated discussion. The comment sections were flooded with hateful messages, packed with vicious insults aimed at Estella.
In less than thirty minutes, the story had hit major social media platforms–and it was climbing fast. It was already trending in the top three–and still climbing.
Estella saw it too.
