Too Good for You: The Ex-Wife You Lost novel Chapter 103

Mountain peaks rose in endless folds, the winding road snaking between them. Cars shot past one after another, wild and free.

In close-ups, each racer looked different, but the same confidence lit their faces when their hands gripped the wheel. Then, there was a scene of them drinking and dancing around a bonfire, clinking glasses under the starry sky.

The camera shifted again as the racers got back in their cars and headed off on a new journey. In the setting sun, their faces seemed gilded with light as they drove toward the horizon.

The screen went black, leaving one line of text.

"Divine Motors—for freedom. For passion."

The ad had taken three days to shoot, but what finally aired was only around ten seconds long—and every shot of Hazel had been cut.

Even so, Flame Speed Racing was thrilled.

"This is my first ad. I'm going to call my parents to see if they've watched it," Felix exclaimed.

Normally the quiet one, he was practically glowing now as he pulled out his phone.

Meanwhile, Jenna clung to Alexis, replaying the clip online over and over.

"Ms. Quinn, people are gushing about how cool you are," Jenna said excitedly. "They're saying your presence on camera is unmatched! Your follower count just hit 100 thousand."

Others cast envious looks at Noelle, but she paid them no mind. After all, she rarely spent time on social media.

"Is that so?" she asked, devouring her plate as if she were completely unfazed.

"If only Hazel hadn't messed up." Jenna sighed. "She finally got a chance to be in an ad… How could she be so careless?"

The moment the words left her mouth, she realized her mistake. Her expression turned awkward, but the rest didn't seem to notice her slip-up.

Yet, Jayden's eyes darkened, his gaze unreadable.

After lunch, Jude summoned Noelle. With less than three months until the international championship, time was tight.

"The qualifying race is a month from now," he said. "Technically, given your experience, you could skip straight to the international championship.

"But every year, the qualifiers attract hidden talent. This is your chance to adjust to the current racing scene."

Noelle wasn't deterred. She might have been in the camp for almost a month, but the only competition she had been in was the last league event.

"Don't pressure yourself," Jude added. "Just relax and take it as training."
