"Mr. Maxwell, may I take a look at the footage you got of me?"

Noelle sounded polite, so Elijah naturally wouldn't refuse. After all, she was the captain of the national team, and besides, her performance today had exceeded all expectations. Noelle was far more expressive than he had imagined.

"Of course, Ms. Quinn. You look amazing in every shot."

Elijah replayed the sunset scenes from the evening.

Noelle watched for a moment, then smiled slightly. "It really does look good. Mr. Maxwell, you have a great eye."

She paused, then added, "But the makeup of the racers behind me has melted quite a bit."

At the mention of that, Elijah grew curious. "Ms. Quinn, how is it that your makeup stayed perfect? It looked increasingly natural as the shoot went on."

In fact, Noelle somehow looked even better under the night lights.

Tina's heart skipped a beat. She opened her mouth to speak, but Noelle beat her to it.

"I did my own makeup," Noelle said, turning to look at Tina with a smile. "During prep time today, Tina wasn't feeling well and stepped out for about half an hour. Her two assistants were swamped, and by the time she came back, it was almost time to shoot. So, to avoid delaying everyone, I did my own look."

Her tone was calm, as though she was simply stating facts, not accusing anyone. Yet she had undoubtedly exposed Tina's negligence.

Elijah's temper flared instantly. With that kind of work ethic, no wonder the racers' base makeup had turned out so badly!

That was when Noelle suggested, "Why don't I handle everyone's makeup tomorrow? I can come early and prepare the looks, so once filming starts, there won't be any issue with makeup breaking down. What do you think, Mr. Maxwell?"

Elijah was genuinely moved. "Ms. Quinn, wouldn't that be asking too much of you?"

As the director hired by the client, his sole job was to see the shoot completed smoothly. Other affairs were out of his control.

Besides, Tina's team had been hired by the client's advertising department. So furious as he might be, he couldn't just fire her at will. If Noelle was willing to step in, though, that would neatly solve the problem.

The biggest issue with the shoot today had been the patchy, uneven makeup.
