Who is Your Choice (Genevieve and Nathaniel) novel Chapter 15

Elaine thought this, and she said it as well.

Nathaniel, yes, I did some things wrong, but none of that matters. After all, you already took one of my kidneys. However you want to torment me, it’s up to you.

But the one who killed Genevieve wasn’t me, it was you! If you had been a little more decisive, I would have already been taken by you to donate my kidney to Genevieve. It was your hesitation and indecisiveness that killed her! If things have come to this, you deserve it!

She had completely lost her mind, pointing at Nathaniel’s nose and cursing him, even spitting

out venomous curses:

Nathaniel, the one who should die is you. You deserve to lose your beloved forever, to lose Genevieve forever! For Genevieve, loving you and being with you was the greatest tragedy of her life!

Nathaniel’s cold eyes narrowed, and he directly broke Elaine’s finger.

Shut up, take back what you just said!

Ugh

The excruciating pain of broken bones shot through her finger, making Elaine’s face turn deathly pale as cold sweat poured down.

Yet the smile on her face grew even more deranged, and a trace of hatred appeared in her eyes as she looked at Nathaniel.

If she couldn’t have him, why should he be happy? After treating her with such coldness, he deserved to live in pain for the rest of his life!

Elaine laughed foolishly, clearly driven nearly insane by Nathaniel.

Nathaniel glanced at her coldly, his eyes devoid of any warmth.

I will be with Genny forever, never separated, and as for you, every torment you were supposed to endure, you will not be spared a single one.

After throwing out these words, he left without looking back.

The bodyguard understood his meaning, entered the hospital room, and closed the door behind him.

The sickening sound of fists pounding flesh echoed from inside. Nathaniel’s expression did not change; he simply listened for a moment, then left.

He wandered aimlessly through the streets, watching countless passersby embrace as they came and went, feeling an overwhelming sense of loneliness.

He and Genevieve had grown up together as childhood sweethearts. Perhaps the longest they had ever been apart was when he traveled all over the country searching for a suitable kidney

donor.

But at that time, his heart was filled with her. They exchanged calls and messages constantly, and he never felt lonely.

But after Elaine appeared, he couldn’t even remember how long it had been since he had spent quality time with Genevieve, or chatted with her about life in a relaxed way.

All the things that once seemed so ordinary had now become unattainable luxuries for Nathaniel.

He only felt an emptiness in his heart, as if his soul was floating in midair, unable to find a place to land.

He didn’t know how far or how long he had walked, but eventually Nathaniel found himself at a noisy bar.

The deafening music pounded so loudly that it made his heart race.

He frowned slightly, feeling a bit uncomfortable, but he didn’t leave. Instead, he ordered several strong drinks at the bar.

The colorful cocktails were crystal clear and looked beautiful.

If Genevieve were here, she might have really liked them.

Nathaniel thought silently, drinking one glass after another in frustration, completely lacking his usual gentlemanly grace and elegance.

He had only one thought: to drink himself into oblivion.

He no longer knew how many days and nights he had gone without a good night’s sleep. Even if he forced himself to sleep with medication, he would soon wake up.
