“Believe me, if I go tell Coach Nash, he’ll kill you!” Shanna threatened, her eyes full of malice.
“Shanna, there’s no need to take it out on my sister. And for your information, murder is illegal in Rothialand!” Cressida warned, forcing herself to stay calm.
But Shanna just let out a cold laugh. “So what? Coach Nash is don’t blame me.”
“You!” Cressida snapped, her anger barely contained.

But right at that moment, Narissa suddenly cut in, breaking off their argument.
She said, “Just some so–called top–three assassin on the international ranking?
“He can’t even crack the top hundred on the Shadow Ranking, and you guys act like he’s some kind of big deal? That’s just laughable.” “You’re so clueless!” Shanna shouted, her face twisted with rage.
At that moment, someone tried to explain to Narissa, “Narissa, stop it! Do you have any idea what being ranked third in the world even

“I heard Reese kills without even blinking–he’s absolutely ruthless. Once he locks onto a target, nobody’s ever gotten away from him.

“Do you really want to end up as part of his collection?”
Shanna burst out laughing when she heard that.
She said, “He’s right. You’re dead meat, you little janitor. You’ll pay a painful price for your ignorance.
“Just wait for him to come and take your life!”
“Oh, let him come,” Narissa said casually, chewing on her lollipop before tossing the stick into a nearby trash can.
This girl is such a loudmouth, Narissa thought, rolling her eyes.
Shanna was completely stunned.
She thought, ‘Is she really not afraid of dying?‘
When Narissa finally lifted her foot, Shanna was immediately helped up by her friends.
“Just you wait–I’ll make sure Coach Nash comes after you!” Shanna spat, her voice shaking with rage.
Once Shanna and her crew were gone, Jaylen immediately turned to Narissa. “It’s not safe for you to stay alone anymore.
“We should tell the teachers right away and see if we can find someone strong to keep you safe.”
“No need,” Narissa replied coolly.
Cressida stormed over, fuming. “Narissa, do you even realize what a mess you’ve made this time?
“All you ever do is cause trouble. Now you’ve provoked someone that dangerous–you could get yourself killed!”
“Cressida, don’t say that. This is Rothialand. Even if he’s an assassin, I doubt he’d actually dare to kill someone here,” Jaylen said.
Cressida hadn’t expected Jaylen to defend Narissa, and it only made her angrier.
“Fine, you all just keep siding with her. Sooner or later, she’ll get you all killed along with her, Narissa, I’m done with you!” She dragged Miranda away with her.

Jaylen still looked worried. “Should we go find the principal now?”

“No need. I’m hungry. I’m going to grab something to eat. Don’t follow me,” Narissa said, shoving her hands in her pockets and heading toward the elevator.
The others exchanged a glance and immediately followed her, not wanting to leave her alone.
They were all worried something might happen to her.

Meanwhile, Reese Nash was in the presidential suite of the
Lunaris Academy.
The principal said, “Mr. Nash, are you satisfied with the arrangements here?
“If not, I can have someone prepare an even better place for you. We v
e want to make sure you’re completely comfortable.”
The principal of Lunaris Academy swirled his wine, laying on the compliments thick.
“It’ll do,” Reese replied, his face hidden behind a silver–rimmed butterfly mask.
One hand rested lazily on the back of the sofa, the other held a wine glass, and his legs were crossed with effortless elegance.
He looked every bit the aristocrat.
The principal said, “You’re a world–class master we’ve paid a fortune to bring here. You deserve nothing less than the royal treatment.”
Hearing this, Reese’s lips curled into a slight smirk, his distinctly Western face full of arrogance and pride.
“Well, if it weren’t for your sincerity, I wouldn’t have agreed to coach these worthless losers,” he replied with obvious contempt.
The principal urged, “Yes, but this competition is crucial. It determines Lunaris Academy’s future in Sinney City.
“You have to turn these students from losers to winners and help Lunaris Academy crush Regality Academy to take the number one spot!”
As he spoke, the principal placed a bank card on the coffee table and slid it over to Reese.
Reese cast a subtle glance at the bank card.
“Rest assured. With me handling things, you’ll get exactly what you want,” he said with confidence.
