Chapter 214
Serena POV
I stayed in the coma until I was 100%. I wasn’t wasting a single molecule of energy until I was ready. I had a hunt to finish.
I am driving this truck with four soldiers in the back at full speed down the road. I barely brake when I take the corner to Moonfang, causing the truck to skid on the gravel. The soldiers panic in the back, but I don’t care. The other truck behind us is struggling to keep
When I get to the entrance of the pack and see the guards on the front gate, I slam the brakes on. I get out of the truck with my Alpha Aura up, rope over my chest, and start walking towards them. I start commanding them as soon as I slam the door shut.
“I am your Luna Queen, and I have unfinished business here. Move or die“.
They both freeze, unsure of what to do. I can see them make eye contact with me. A giveaway away, they are about to mind–link someone. I attack and get a great kick to each of their heads and knock them out instantly. They didn’t even have time to react.
I pause and smell the air. I know the scents I am looking for. I start moving into the territory and pick up my first one in the breeze. One of them is on patrol in the West.
I take off running, following my nose to find the scent. I have told the soldiers I brought with me to start rounding up the pack in their main compound. Not to harm anyone else, but make sure everyone is there.
I find him quickly. He is barely monitoring his post and playing on his phone. Dumbass. I walk up right behind him, and he doesn’t even notice.
“So why did you try to kill my mate?“.
He spins and drops his phone in surprise. His eyes go wide, and he reaches for his weapon. Too slow.
I punch him in the face, breaking his nose and disarm him before he has a chance to attack me. As the blood runs down his face, he tries to back away.
I stalk forward and mock him. “Your Luna Queen asked you a question. Why. Did you try. To kill. My. Mate?“.
He starts stammering as he pleads with me. “We had no choice. Shadows will consume the land, and we had to protect the pack“.
I just laugh. “Wrong answer“,
I get a good kick to tie him up with a rope. He must know he is done for. I tie him up with a section of the rope and cut it off with a claw, making sure I also give him a collar and a lead.
I pull him all the way back to the compound and throw him in the middle with the pack staring on. They all gasp when they see him with blood pouring out of his face, but my soldiers hold them back.
One down, two to go.
I get the other scent quickly. He must have been resting at home, as I broke his arm when I threw him into a tree. He is now in the crowd.

Chapter 214
I put my full Alpha Aura up again and stare him down.
“I’m going to ask you the same question I asked him. Why did you try to kill my mate?“.
The whole crowd instantly goes silent with the sudden understanding of why I am here. The man looks around for his options, but I reach him as he is trying to back away, I broke his nose just to prove a point.
He couldn’t really fight due to his cast, but he tried. Miserably, but he tried. I tied him up and made sure he also had a collar and leash.
Two down. One to go.
I turn to the pack house and have noticed they have barricaded the door. Like that will stop me.
1 saunter up to the front door, assessing my options.
I start teasing them and start humming a song in a sweet voice. “Little Alpha, Little Alpha, let me come in. Or I’ll huff, and I’ll puff and blow your house down“.
The fact that I am not remotely worried about a house full of guards and an Alpha has them terrified. I smell of fear coming from them. which is enjoyable, and I’ve just been having fun up until this point.
A voice calls out from a window. “We will defend Moonfang pack with our lives. Leave now or prepare for battle“.
I throw my head back and laugh. “Fine. Have it your way“.
I climb up the decorative bricks on the outside of the building and smash my way in through a window on the first floor. I get a few scratches, but they heal them instantly.
I barely bother fighting the guards in the hallways. I know where my target will be. There is a reason the Alpha study tends to be located in the center of the packhouse.
I reach some large double doors, and I can smell five wolves in there.
I get down low and open the doors, and while doing a front roll. They open fire as soon as the door opens, but every shot misses me as they were aiming too high.
I got over to the first one with my blades out and started slicing. They try to keep firing at me, but because I have moved behind the first one, he takes a bullet in the arm.
I kick him into the other one, sending both to the floor, and move on to the other two.
