Chapter 200 Enemy Intel
“Don’t even bring it up!” he said helplessly. “That day, after we got back from Loxmere, Ms. Hall announced she wanted to divorce Mr. Storm. She said the only reason she was with him in the first place was because of Ms. Storm. Now that Ms. Storm’s fine, she sees no reason to stay married!”
“What?”
While the two of them were whispering, they both suddenly felt a chill behind them.
Harriet stiffened and slowly turned her head–only to see Zaden standing there with a cold expression. She jumped in fright and clutched her chest.
When did Zaden get here?
She forced a nervous smile. “Zaden, what are you doing here?”
Zaden shot her a sharp look. “I should be the one asking that. You were supposed to be with Kit -why are you here?”
Harriet stammered, “Uh … I … I came to report some enemy intel. I thought it’d be too hard to explain over the phone, so I decided to tell you in person.”
She finished with an eager smile, trying to please him.
Zaden turned his gaze away and headed toward his office. “Follow me,” he said coolly.
Harriet quickly jumped to her feet and followed.
Once the office door shut, only the two of them remained.
Zaden sat back on the leather couch, fingers interlaced, and looked up at her. “Go ahead.”
Harriet plopped down beside him, her eyes sparkling. “I’ve found out who’s helping Athena!”
Zaden frowned slightly but stayed quiet, listening.
“It’s Kit!” Harriet said with a hint of drama. “He’s the one helping Athena deal with her scandals. There’s no way he’s just a friend. Zaden, if you really want to win Athena over, you have to beat
Kit first!”
Zaden’s eyes sharpened. He hadn’t expected that.
He had assumed it was someone else–anyone else–but not Kit.

Ha.
It all came full circle again. Even Tommy hadn’t discovered this, which meant Harriet must’ve been digging around Kit’s side herself.
He made a mental note that he’d have to retrain his men–if they couldn’t even uncover something this simple, they were getting sloppy.
Harriet noticed his dark expression and quickly added, “Since we already know who the enemy is, the next step is just to deal with him properly.”
Zaden lowered his gaze slightly, as if something had just clicked in his mind.
Before Harriet arrived, he had actually been thinking about backing down—he’d been considering going along with Athena’s wishes. But now, he’d changed his mind.
Harriet was right.
If he knew who the opponent was, then all he had to do was defeat them one by one.
Harriet had no idea she had just fueled Zaden’s resolve. After reporting everything, she suddenly remembered what Tommy had told her earlier.
“By the way,” she asked curiously, “didn’t Tommy say Athena wanted to divorce you? What’s going on with that? Is she really serious about leaving you? Don’t tell me she was touched by what Kit did and chose him instead?”
Her rapid–fire questions made Zaden’s mood drop sharply. His voice turned cold. “No. I won’t give her that chance.”
Harriet smiled in satisfaction.
That was more like the Zaden she knew–confident, arrogant, and utterly sure of himself.
“Alright, then. I’ve finished my report. I’ll get going.”
Once Harriet left, Zaden’s eyes grew brighter, as if he’d already made up his mind about what to do next.
The day Athena planned to look for Zaden, she happened to run into Albas and Pandra. Because of that, she never got the chance to see him, and the whole matter was pushed aside.
