Even if Lewis found this place, there was no way he could get in.

After a long, busy day, Athena was finally settled. Harriet had done her part and left with a big smile, proud of her success.
Athena glanced toward the living room and froze. Zaden was still standing there.
Why isn’t he leaving?
A sudden thought hit her. Did he plan to stay here too?
No way. What am I even thinking?
Athena shook her head, laughing a little at herself. What kind of crazy thoughts are those? Zaden isn’t that kind of man.
Wait–how did I even know what kind of man he is?
I hadn’t known him for long. So why did it suddenly feel like I know him well?
Zaden’s voice pulled her out of her thoughts. “This place is a bit out of the way. It might be hard to get a ride. There’s a car in the garage; you can use it anytime. The keys are by the door.”
Athena nodded. “Okay.”
“The housekeeper will come once a week to clean,” he added. “I’ve already talked to her.”
“Got it.”
“I also asked my assistant to stock the fridge with fruits and vegetables. If you need anything else, call me. I’ll have someone take care of it.”
At first, everything sounded perfectly normal. But the more Athena listened, the stranger it seemed.
Aren’t I suppose to be hiding out?
Why did Zaden sounds like my sugar daddy?
Zaden wasn’t aware of her thoughts. After finishing his list of instructions, he nodded politely
and left.
Athena finally sat down on the couch, letting herself relax.

She wasn’t sure if moving into Zaden’s house was really the right thing to do. Somehow, it felt like they were getting closer.
No. She couldn’t let her mind wander there.
He was only being kind because of his daughter. That was all.
Now that she was safe and settled, it was time to deal with her problems. After she calmed her mind down, Athena pulled out her phone and called Kit.
The next day, Harriet showed up in front of Zaden looking absolutely pitiful. Tears welled up in her eyes as she whined, “I can’t take it anymore! That jerk Lewis had people surround my office! They’re ruining my work, asking nonstop about where Athena is!
“I can’t even go to work now. Zaden, you have to help me!”
She dabbed at her eyes with a tissue, looking heartbroken.
Zaden leaned back in his office chair and glanced at her calmly. “You look fine to me.”
“Fine?” Harriet cried. “I’m being followed by Lewis’s men all the time! I feel like I’m losing my mind! Bohoo!” She sniffled loudly.
“I think Athena’s divorce isn’t going to be easy. That jerk might never let her go.”
Zaden sighed, clearly helpless. “What do you want me to do?”
“I want you to help me–no, help Athena to get away from that awful man!”
Then she quickly added, “Think about it. If Athena keeps getting stuck in this mess with Lewis, how can she focus on anything else? It’ll even affect how she handles things with Teri. Don’t you think you should help her?”
She said it with such righteous conviction that it almost sounded like she was doing this for Zaden’s own good.
If Zaden helps Athena, Athena will definitely be touched. And when that happens, Zaden will be one step closer to her. Hehe, I’m such a genius.
Zaden fell silent for a moment, his brows slightly furrowed as if deep in thought.
Then he finally said quietly, “Alright.”
Harriet’s face lit up instantly. She quickly flattered him. “That’s amazing! With you helping, Athena’s definitely going to shake that jerk off for good!”
