Chapter 110
“Wait, is this another one of Tiffany’s paintings?” someone blurted out.

“Seriously, why is the school only showing work from the same person? Are we really not getting a shot at all?” another student protested.
“Come on! Even if we can’t be Mr. West’s apprentice, can’t we at least get a chance for him to critique our paintings? They’re not even displaying our work? That’s so unfair,” someone else chimed in.
As the discussion went on, the students got more agitated. “Are we just here as filler? Did the school already know Tiffany was the Sweetheart Queen? If so, why even ask us to come? They could’ve just made Tiffany Mr. West’s apprentice from the get–go.”
“Exactly! Does our time mean nothing? This is a school, not some celebrity show. We’re here to learn, not to play second fiddle for someone else,” another complained.
Everyone was talking over each other, and the whole scene was on the verge of chaos. Everyone was fired up.
Bruce was stunned. ‘Did the staff mess up again? Why did they just bring out another painting from Miss Lawrence?‘ he wondered.
He quickly turned to Edward and said, “It’s just a mistake from the staff. Please wait a moment. I’ll go handle
it.”
Just as he was about to step up and smooth things over, saying it was a staff mix–up, Janice, the host, glanced at the signature on the painting and announced, “The artist of this piece is Alicia Lawrence.”
As soon as Janice said that, the whole room went dead silent.
Edward froze for a second. ‘Wait, Alicia Lawrence? So it really is her–my Alicia,‘ he realized.
He felt a rush of excitement, but unlike before, he didn’t hurry to meet Alicia. Instead, he wanted to know- why were Tiffany’s paintings so strikingly similar to Alicia’s?
With all his years of experience, he could instantly tell these paintings were unmistakably the work of a single artist–both displayed the very techniques he had once personally taught Alicia.
‘Both of these must have been painted by Alicia,‘ he thought. ‘But Tiffany Lawrence has turned in thirteen pieces all at once–and she’s a famous artist online. If these aren’t her work, how could she have dared to post them on the internet as her own?‘
Edward was left confused and unsure what to think. Not wanting to jump to any conclusions, he decided to just sit back and see how things played out.
After a tense silence in the lecture hall, someone finally whispered, “How come Alicia’s painting looks so much like Tiffany’s? It’s gotta be the same artist behind both of them.”
“There’s no way these styles and techniques aren’t from one person. If not, I’ll shave my head and dribble it across the field myself,” another student snorted.

The students started chiming in, convinced that both paintings were clearly made by the same person. Alicia stayed completely silent and didn’t budge, totally calm. She was just watching–I want to see how Tiffany’s going to handle this, Alicia thought to herself.
At that moment. Tiffany shot to her feet and glared at Alicia. “Alicia, how could you do something like this?” she demanded, her voice trembling.
As soon as those words left her lips, the whole room fell into stunned silence.
The school administrators and teachers all shot Tiffany a disapproving look, their brows furrowing in unison.
Bruce was honestly at a loss–he’d only just found out last night that Tiffany was the famous Sweetheart Queen from the internet. He’d been absolutely thrilled. Who would’ve thought their school had such a hidden gem?
Back then, Hugh had pulled him aside and asked him to look out for Tiffany–he wanted her to become Edward’s apprentice in the flashiest, most unforgettable way possible. That was why Bruce pulled all these strings for Tiffany.
He made sure her artwork didn’t get tossed in with everyone else’s, but arranged for her piece to hit the spotlight right in the middle–not too early, not too late, just when the audience and Edward would still be sharp and the comparison with the earlier paintings would make hers really pop.
‘Everything was fine until now–Mr. West even met Tiffany face–to–face earlier. So what’s going on now?‘ Bruce wondered, totally thrown for a loop. ‘How come a painting shows up that’s almost a dead ringer for Tiffany’s style?
‘Wait a minute, Alicia’s the artist behind this one?
‘Why is it that nothing ever goes smoothly when Alicia’s around? This girl is seriously a handful—never the easy type.
He rushed over to Tiffany and asked, “Tiffany, what’s going on? What is this all about?”
Tiffany bit down on her lower lip, pressed her lips together, and finally shook her head with a reluctant sigh. “It’s fine, Mr. Sherman. Just carry on. Let’s drop it.”
Bruce spread his hands in frustration. “How do you expect us to move forward with this? Right now, everyone’s starting to think that your painting and Alicia’s were done by the same person. If we don’t get to the bottom of this, we can’t go on with the show. So seriously, Tiffany, what’s going on here?”
Tiffany cast her eyes down, glancing at Alicia before speaking up, “I’m sorry, Mr. Sherman. This is just a personal issue between sisters, and I didn’t mean for it to cause you trouble. But… it’s really more of a private family thing, and I don’t want to talk about it in front of everyone.”
The school administrators all began to frown. ‘Seriously, it’s always Tiffany and Alicia with the drama. Can this ever just stop?‘ they thought, completely exasperated.
Just as Bruce was about to suggest moving things to his office, Alicia strolled over, a playful grin on her face. “Come on, Tiffany–since when did ‘family drama‘ become such a big secret? What, you can’t air it out in front of everyone?”

Tiffany shot Alicia a cold smirk Today, I’m gonna ruin you for good–let’s see how you ever show your face in the art world again, she thought, a ruthless glint in her eyes.
Tiffany put on her best worried look and faced Alicia. “Alicia, are you sure you want me to bring this up in front of everyone? I’m really just looking out for you here”
“Oh, is that so? By all means, tell everyone how you’re supposedly looking out for me, Alicia replied, her lips curled into a faint, mocking smile.
At that moment, Edward caught sight of Alicia–and he couldn’t help but grin to himself. That’s my Alicia, alright, he thought, feeling that familiar sense of pride.
Her smile was gorgeous, but there was a sense of coldness in her eyes. He knew that someone was definitely about to catch hell.
Edward remembered it clear as day–whenever Alicia had that look when she was little, he just knew somebody was about to get what they deserved.
