“We thought sending him abroad would help him get serious and maybe even toughen him up. But, we’re short on cash.”

Alicia blinked. “So, you want me to sponsor his studies abroad?”

“We’re not some hard–up family that needs others‘ help. Our son’s got parents who care about him–he’s not some orphan. Why would Alicia use the word sponsor?‘ Tiana thought, feeling seriously miffed.

Tiana bit her lip, then said, “It’s not about a handout. Edward’s still famous, sure, but you can see how long it’s been since he put out any new work. With the way things are online these days, he doesn’t even bother posting, and if that continues, people will forget about him.
