Donna let out a laugh. Before coming there, she’d figured Alicia would say she regretted what she’d done and came back to save her, or maybe she’d claim she never expected Tiffany to be so ruthless and didn’t mean for things to get that bad.
In short, Alicia would make excuses for herself.
But she didn’t. She just turned the question back on Donna.
So, Alicia knew everything. She knew Tiffany would be that ruthless; she didn’t regret a thing, and she wasn’t afraid Donna would hate her. She just taught Donna a lesson in her own way, making sure never to take things too far.
Donna thought, ‘She’s honestly terrifying.
‘Tiffany might be the Lawrence family’s spoiled princess with all that money, but in the end, she still couldn’t win against Alicia.
‘If given the chance, I’d much rather be friends with Alicia. And if nothing else, I’d never want to be on her bad side.’
Donna took a deep breath and said, “Alicia, I’m sorry.”
Alicia didn’t say anything, just kept smiling at her, her eyes so clear and bright, it felt like she saw straight through everything.
Donna finally said, “I’m leaving tomorrow morning. Before I go, I’ll pay back what I owe you. I’ve gotten what I deserve, so after this, we’re square.”
With that, she got up and walked away.
Alicia kept sitting there, watching with a gentle smile as Donna left the gym. Once she was gone, Alicia finally stood up and followed her out.
The next day, as soon as Alicia got to school, Sienna dragged her over to their seats and whispered, keeping her voice super low. “Alicia, did you see the forum? Someone just made a post saying all those nasty comments about you ages ago were actually paid for, and it was Tiffany behind it. They even exposed all the transfer records.”
Alicia lifted an eyebrow. “That was quick,‘ she thought.
Sienna leaned in and quietly asked, “Any idea who did it?”
Alicia shook her head. “No clue. Probably some justice warrior who couldn’t stand Tiffany and decided to spill
it all.”
Sienna giggled.

Alicia pulled out her phone, opened the forum, and saw the post that had shot straight to the top.
Donna really was the classic science major–her post was clear, concise, and perfectly logical. Even better, she uploaded the chat logs between her and Tiffany, plus all the transfer records: Using those tech skills of hers, she even tracked down info on the payment accounts and shared everything right there on the forum.
The comments were going wild, everyone totally freaking out and refusing to believe what they were seeing.
Comment A: [Wait, wasn’t Tiffany supposed to be the picture of innocence and kindness? How could she pay trolls to smear her own sister?]
Comment B: [Didn’t everyone say Tiffany was the best sister ever? She was always the first to stand up for Alicia when something happened. How could she have done something like this? And that photo of Alicia and President Lee that got posted before–was it really Nora who stole it? Or did Tiffany set her up to do it? Honestly, I might sound like a conspiracy theorist, but this is totally believable.]
Comment C: [I always knew it–she’s got that fake saint act, but deep down she’s a total demon. Back when those posts were trashing Alicia, tons of people piled on, dropping the most vicious hate, and now it turns out Tiffany was the mastermind behind all of it.]
Comment D: [Honestly, I just wanna know why Tiffany would do something like this.]
Comment E: [C’mon, haven’t you heard about the Lawrence family’s whole mess? Alicia was abducted as a kid, and the Lawrences brought her back to basically replace Tiffany. You bet Tiffany holds a grudge about Alicia living her life as the ‘real daughter‘ for so long.]
Comment F: [But it’s not like Alicia chose to get abducted! If anyone deserves the blame, it’s her parents, right? She got snatched away, and instead of finding her, they just got another girl to stand in. That’s totally on them.]
Comment G: [Who can really guess what’s going on in their heads anyway?]
The comments were flooding in–some were wild guesses about Tiffany, most were straight up dragging her, calling her downright vicious and evil.
As Alicia read through everything, she couldn’t help but feel satisfied. ‘Looks like Tiffany won’t bother keeping up her act around me anymore. The gloves are off now.
Alicia really did have a thing about Tiffany’s habit of calling her in that low, fake–sweet voice–it honestly creeped her out.
She put her phone away and checked her schedule. She had music class this morning. After breakfast, she turned to Sienna and said, “Sienna, my first period is music. I’m heading to the big lecture hall. Where’re you headed?”
Sienna waved her hand. “Go on, I’ve got history over in the other big lecture hall.”
Alicia nodded. “Alright, I’m off then.”
When Alicia walked into the big lecture hall, it was already full of students. A few girls crowded around her right away. “Alicia, did you see that post on the forum? Is it for real that Tiffany hired paid trolls to go after you?”

Alicia gave a little laugh. “You should probably ask whoever made the post–or maybe just ask Tiffany herself.”
“Why would Tiffany do something like that? Come on, give us the inside scoop! Looks like she totally has it out for you,” another girl said eagerly, tugging at Alicia’s arm.
Alicia slipped her arm free and said, “Class is starting soon, so I have to go.”
With that, she picked an empty seat and sat down.
Seeing Alicia refuse to say anything, the girls huddled together and started whispering. “Look at Alicia–she looks way too scared to talk about it. Bet she’s worried Tiffany’s gonna set her up again.”
Another girl said, “Who wouldn’t be scared? Have you seen how Tiffany throws her money around? It’s like she’s out to ruin Alicia’s reputation for good.”
Someone covered her mouth. “Seriously, that’s terrifying. I’d never dare cross Tiffany after this. She always seemed so sweet, but she’s got a real dark side. Poor Alicia, I actually feel bad for her.”
