Tiffany stood behind her and called out, “Alicia, Mr. West has arrived in Riverdale.”

Alicia ignored her and kept walking.

Tiffany quickly stepped in front of Alicia, stopping her. “Alicia, I’m the Sweetheart Queen online.

“Oh.” Alicia nodded, barely reacting at all.

Tiffany couldn’t hide her irritation at Alicia’s poker face. ‘Shouldn’t she at least look shocked? Or a little nervous? She’s acting way too cool for this. There’s no way she’s actually this calm. She must be faking it. She must be losing it inside, Tiffany tried to convince herself.

She said, “Alicia, I’m the Sweetheart Queen. Do you really think you still have a chance?”

Alicia just smiled, “Whether I have a chance or not isn’t the point. The point is, you’re the one who’s out of chance now.”

Tiffany snorted, “Seriously? Am I out of chance? Do you have any idea how popular Sweetheart Queen is online?”

Alicia raised an eyebrow, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Oh, so you want me to go viral, huh?”

Panic flickered across Tiffany’s face as she scanned the area, her heart racing when she confirmed there were no cameras watching. She clenched her jaw and snapped back, “And what proof do you have that those paintings are yours?”

Alicia glanced around too, quickly realizing it was a dead zone. None of the cameras could catch this spot. It was the perfect place for secrets.

With all the dirty tricks Tiffany had pulled in her previous life still fresh in her mind, Alicia instinctively hit the shortcut on her phone to start recording.

Alicia patted Tiffany’s shoulder. “No proof, huh? Well, go ahead and cash in on those paintings all you want, because from now on, I’m done drawing anything for you.”

Tiffany breathed a sigh of relief at Alicia’s words, but inside, she was seething at how unfazed Alicia looked. Tiffany thought, ‘How could Alicia look so chill when she’d lost everything? And that post from Donna? There was no way that was a coincidence. Alicia had to have set that up.

‘That bitch double–crossed me before she left. If I can’t get to Donna right now, then I’ll just teach Alicia a good lesson.‘

Just as Alicia was pulling her hand away from Tiffany’s shoulder, Tiffany threw herself backward with a dramatic scream. “Ah! Alicia, do you really hate me that much?”

Alicia was fed up with this act. ‘Seriously? The same old trick again? She’s really pushing it. Does she seriously think I’m that gullible?‘ Alicia thought, her patience wearing thin.

foot with a sharp kick, sending her tumbling for real. Tiffany hit the floor with a heavy thud, her fall anything but controlled. Her ankle twisted hard, and a jolt of pain shot through it.

“Ah! It hurts. It freaking hurts.” This scream was nothing like her earlier soft act. It was a full–on, guttural shriek, raw and unfiltered.

Her scream instantly drew a crowd of students, all turning to stare at the scene.

Tiffany was sweating bullets from the pain, but she wasn’t about to let this golden opportunity slip away. She had to clear her name after the whole forum mess. If she didn’t, her reputation at school would be toast.

Tiffany swallowed hard, pain making her voice tremble as she put on her best wounded act. “Alicia, I know the whole forum thing made you misunderstand me, but please, can’t you let me explain?”

Her words instantly got the students gossiping in hushed tones. “She literally hired paid trolls to ruin Alicia, and now she’s calling it a misunderstanding? Wow, she is so fake.”

“What’s the big deal about shoving her? If someone played me that dirty, I’d probably just punch them. No mercy,” another student said.

Tiffany gritted her teeth, wincing through the pain as she poured her heart out. “Alicia, do you really think I hired those paid trolls just to mess with you? No way. I was trying to help you.

“I had to stir things up so the school would actually investigate who posted that slander. If I hadn’t caused all that drama, they’d just erase the post and people would keep gossiping about you behind your back.

“And once too much time passes, no one cares about the truth anymore. You’re my sister. How could I want to hurt you? When all this started, I even tracked down that girl who delivered your food just so she could vouch for you.”

When she finished, a few students actually started nodding along, thinking maybe she had a point.

“So Tiffany has been putting up with all that just for Alicia? She even went out of her way, and Alicia still doesn’t appreciate it?”

“But those trolls on the forum were downright vicious, weren’t they?”

“If they hadn’t been so over–the–top, nobody would’ve paid attention. Honestly, Tiffany doesn’t seem like a bad person to me. She can’t really control what those trolls say. She just paid them to stir up trouble.”

The crowd started to rally behind Tiffany again, even giving Alicia a little nudge. “Come on. Tiffany was just trying to help you, and you pushed her down? Look at how frail she is. She looks so pitiful. It’s all just a misunderstanding. You should take her to the infirmary right now.”

Alicia gave Tiffany a look that could freeze lava. “Tiffany, is this the best you’ve got? Just own up to it. If you could just be honest for once, maybe I’d cut you some slack. But no, you’re playing the same old victim card. Don’t you get bored of this act? It’s so boring.”
